  1. Amazing experience with a organization that really cares for the elephants. Picked up from the hotel, took us to the sanctuary where we got to feed the elephants, bathe them and then had a thai buffet before being driven back to our hotel. 10 out of 10!!

  2. If you are looking to see elephants when visiting Phuket, this is truly the only genuine, ethical place to go. The team here are so passionate and loving towards these awesome creatures and every single elephant has been rescued from logging, riding or circus’. Not only has the elephant been given a kinder and more freeing life, their ‘owner’ and his family have also been given a new and ethical way of life. If any other ‘sanctuary’ advertises riding or hugging the trunks of elephants, do not go. This is not kind to the elephants. You should visit green elephant sanctuary. Such a great day out, facilities are really clean and food is delicious! No hard selling at all, they even take photos so you don’t have to at no extra cost. Can’t recommend this place highly enough and the money spent on the ticket goes back to looking after the elephants.

  3. Everything was well-organized and informative. The elephants are looked after well and the food at the end was incredible!

  4. This was such a thrilling event! The elephants are so well cared for and they were so much fun to interact with. We got to feed them bananas and sugar cane and we also got to give them a mud bath and shower them down afterwards. The staff at Green Elephant sanctuary are very kind and friendly and they are always eager to offer more information about the elephants. We had a great lunch at the sanctuary as well after the elephant activities. This is a must-do if you are in Phuket!

  5. Such a wonderful experience from start to finish! The sanctuary is well organized. there was a nice balance of education, hands on activities with the elephants and a tasty meal. I loved learning about the elephants and their mahouts. The elephants were calm and looked happy. It looked like the sanctuary cared for them well. Super clean bathrooms and showers and secure lockers were much appreciated. The sanctuary took lots of photos and made them available for no additional charge. Overall a great experience and good value for the money.

  6. An absolute must to go and do on your visit to Phuket! the elephants are so cared for and the people who work there are lovely and so knowledgeable!x

  7. It was wonderful. We had smile on our face the whole time. Don’t be afraid to get muddy and dirty. The place in which elephants are living is beautifull, and the staff was very kind to us. Tip for people with small kids – control them so that then don’t run behind elephants. We had 2 “active” boys in our tour that were running around and behind elephants, staff tried their best with polite suggestions but in the end parents weren’t strict enough to boys and that was problem. Would recommend this to anyone ?

  8. The Green Elephant Sanctuary Park was incredible! Watching the elephants roam freely and getting to feed and bathe them was such a unique experience. The staff were friendly and shared so much about the elephants’ care and rescue stories. It’s a place that truly values their well-being.

  9. There are more than one elephant sanctuary in Phuket and I am very glad I picked this one. I had a chance to feed the elephants. There was plenty of food for everyone who wanted to feed the elephants and they did not rush us through the process. There were photographers all over. And they took a lot of photographs of everybody. It turns out I have 18 fantastic pictures of me with the elephants. The ride from the hotel was just me and one other family so it wasn’t like they drove around and picked up everybody from 10 different places. The food was really good and not too spicy. I didn’t even know lunch was included! They had water and sodas everywhere you went on the property included.

  10. First off, this place is the cleanest outdoor facility that I have ever been to in my life! Bathrooms clean! Showers clean! Food was great! The animals seemed to be well taken care of and the employees seemed to be happy! You should definitely visit!

  11. Amazing experience. The people looking after the rescued elephants are amazing , the food was delicious. They really treat the elephants with a lot of respect, love and care . I really recomand to visit , the rules are very clear and simple and you get to feed , wash and touch the beautiful elephants.

  12. From pick up to drop off by taxi (organised by the sanctuary) this whole trip was really amazing. The elephants are all rescued, each have their own carer, they’re not tethered at all by ropes or chains and actually seem to be living their best life!! Everyone given simple instructions as to how to touch and treat the elephants: it was amazing to feed and the bath them- a magical morning!! Definitely worth the longish drive from where we were to support the sanctuary

  13. Such a great overall experience. Everything worked out great. Kind staff, beautiful and kind animals, very clean facilities and tasty lunch. We are a family with an almost 3 year old and it worked for all of us. I will highly recommend visiting this great place and truly a sanctuary for the animals.

  14. Amazing experience and very ethical company. We got to bath and shower the elephants as well as feed them. There is an official photographer and the photos are free to download of Facebook. The toilets and showers were immaculate and also provided shower gel and shampoo. The wives of the keepers provide a beautiful Thai buffet and there is a constant flow of coke, sprite and water. All in all, the best thing I have ever done in holiday.

  15. Absolutely fantastic. They treat the elephants so well and the staff are great. My ticket included lunch and free photos. There are shower and toilet facilities which were amazing.

  16. Such a magical place. The elephants are clearly well looked after and loved by the team.We booked directly on the website for the morning visit which was easy to do with communication via WhatsApp and Email.Pick up and drop off in an air conditioned vehicle. Please don’t book with the elephant trekking companies or to see them preform in shows as the elephants at this sanctuary are rescued from these places. I know some people feel these elephants should be in the wild but they wouldn’t survive after what they have been though. Definitely recommend!

  17. What an amazing morning spent at the sanctuary , from the private pick up at the hotel to feeding and the washing down the elephants. They are very well looked after and so calm considering they are rescued. Finished off with a lovely Thai buffet. Highly recommend, these sanctuary’s need our help for what they do

  18. Fab experience with happy elephants in the best conditions. Keepers and elephants have a huge bond, no anger, sticks or chains. Elephants living their best lives with people who care. The sanctuary isn’t there for us it’s there for the elephants. You are involved in the elephants daily routine. It’s something you should experience at least once in your life. It just proves there is some good in humanity.

  19. Fabulous afternoon feeding, mud scrubbing and showering the elephants. No riding and no chains, just sheer kindness. For us two legged beings, the toilet and shower facilities here are immaculate, and lunch was really good too. All the staff are so passionate about their mission. There were guys taking photos of us the whole time which they uploaded for us to access via a link and made no extra charge for!

  20. My husband arranged this excursion for us during our three week Baby Moon in Asia. The entire experience was extremely well thought out and detailed from beginning to end, and we walked away with the best memories! The excursion started with a pick up from our hotel and an hour long ride to the camp grounds. Upon arrival, we were given plenty of drinks and refreshments and walked through the next steps. We got to hand feed the elephants, give them mud baths, scrub them, shower them off, and give them lots of pets. It was truly the closest I’ve ever been to an elephant before and absolutely remarkable. We also loved learning about the history of the mahouts (the caretakers) and knowing we were contributing to the ethical caretaking of such beautiful, special creatures. The food we were served as part of the package was fresh and tasty! Not only that, but the staff was so sweet as to surprise me with a birthday cake when they learned it was my birthday (my husband shared with them before we arrived in Thailand)! ??The facilities were clean and inviting and everyone was so friendly. We would recommend this experience to anyone!!!
