I have never used this service. I was on a sail boat near Rok Nok. I saw one of their dive boats get in too close. To get out they tore up a path way through the coral with their three huge outboard engines. Taking people to a sensitive environmental area has some responsibilities. This area is a national park. If you are concerned about the environment I would look elsewhere for a tour
We booked our family trip (kids 8 & 7 years old) just day before over phone. They picked us up on our beach in front of hotel and we visited Koh Rok and Koh Ha. Beautiful beach on koh Rok and good snorkeling with lunch afterwards. All organized well. After that amazing snorkeling on Koh Ha, we’ve seen all kind of fishes all colours! This I would go again! We even had engine problem at start which worked fine as crew repaired it promptly. Due to lot of time on boat and snorkeling, would not reccommend to small kids.
We chose this operator upon recommendation from our hotel manager. He said they were serious, never overbooked the boats and only took 10-12 people on each trip.Oh yeah. They crammed the boat to the limit, ca 40 persons. Just as any other speed boat operator.But anyway, knowing that, it was quite alright. They picked us up at the hotel, right on time and drove us to the small harbour. We had chosen the Koh Rok trip inlcuding snorkeling stops. Everything at boarding went pretty smooth, not as chaotic as with another operator we had tried.It’s quite a bit to go to reach Koh Rok and the sea can be rough. So prepare. Some people on the boat couldn’t take it and went sick.We borrowed snorkling kits at the harbour and could rent beach mats pretty cheap for the day.The snorkling could have delivered more. There was three stops included, but we skipped the last one as the first two were very similar in fauna.Instead we spent time at the beach on Koh Rok, which was far more rewarding.The lunch included here was also better than what we had been served at other tours.The poor English from the tour leaders can be somewhat confusing of course, but why expect something different?So, overall, a good option for a day’s snorkling tour.
We used this company twice. The first time was to tour the 4 Islands and emerald cave. The lunch was really good and the tour was great. I would suggest you wear a life jacket for the emerald cave as it was extremely busy. We had a great time. We used the company again to head to ko phi phi with our luggage. It’s incredible how they carry the heavy bags through the water over their heads. Thought for sure my bag was going in the water but nope they know what they are doing. Highly recommend
On the plus side, their Phi Phi tour had a fast, not over crowded boat. Equipment was fine too. But the route was poorly planned, and lunch was the cheapest possible food (it’s Thailand, it’s not hard to bring something decent), and lacked simple amenities like freshwater rinse off after snorkeling. There’s lots to see in Phi Phi but this isn’t the way to do it.
Amazing tour, we did snorkeling in 3 spots, many huge corals and nice fishes, food lunch and relax at Ko Rok beach, reccomended!!
Great day out snorkelling around Koh Rok and Koh Ha. Really well organised trip, with lovely biscuit snack after our first snorkel, hot lunch served on the beach and fresh fruit after our final snorkel at Koh Ha. Although there were almost 50 on the boat there was plenty of room, 7 attentive staff to watch over us and 3 big outboard motors to take us from Ko Lanta to the snorkel sites. Equipment provided if required and fresh water shower to use when climbing back on board. Things to note: no jetty at Koh Lanta for embarking and disembarking, required a wade through knee high water ( staff help you aboard/disembark if needed), floating wobbly jetty at Ko Rok. Opted for this trip which headed south from Ko Lanta as there were jelly fish on the beach, but not a single one on any of our 3 snorkel adventures on the trip. (Excursion in mid April). Great company would thoroughly recommend.
The boat service is very good.The island is very beautiful. I was impressed by both the boat and the island.I went last week and I really want to go again. If I have a chance, I will definitely use the service again.
