My friend and I went on one of the half-day program with kayaks. We stopped at three islands and one cave in total. On the two smaller once, my friend and I used most of our time collecting seashells and enjoying the view. On the last one, we had time to swim and watch the monkeys. The guide was very friendly and sweet to answer all our questions about the island and the nature.
Program 4, Koh Ung, Koh Talabeng, Koh Kam. It’s a good trip, very fun. Kayaking at the cave, Talabeng Island, swimming, returning to feed the monkeys in the mangrove forest. We recommend Diamond Cave Tour Company.
Surprising wonderful trip despite rain for the second half of the day. Picked up on time by our guide for the whole day – Kib – who was excellent! We nana he’s to fit in three caves, kayaking , a secluded beach cliff face lunch, and had a good giggle feeding the wild monkeys from the boat. Superb day and would recommend it to anyone who likes doing fun stuff! Some of the climbs were a bit challenging and can be hard if you’re unfit or have bad foot wear, but Kib helped me all the way reassuringly. Feel very safe.
Amazing experience, nice crew and great activities. We kayaked through caves and around a beautiful island, we saw and fed monkey’s and the tour guide was really nice. Overal a beautiful trip and great experience
Fun day out with really helpful guides who made the day that bit more enjoyable! Be aware that there is some quite difficult climbing involved for one of the caves so be sure to wear sturdy footwear!
We really enjoyed our half day trip, going on the long tail boat, climbing into Koh Pee cave, kayaking into Koh Talabeng cave and monkey feeding. We were in a small group of 4, and everything went smooth, just as advertised – see picture attached. They also have different half day and full day tours on offer.
My husband and I were in Koh Lanta during low season. We were looking for things to do, and signed up for a half day tour with a hostel. Honestly we didn’t completely know what to expect other than “caves and kayaking”. We were picked up on time. It was a ride in one of the pick-up tucks with a covered bed and benches. We drove to the east side of the island. From there, took a long-tail boat through the mangroves out to the islands. Our first stop was a Koh Phee to climb into the gorilla cave. To get into the cave, you have to climb some tires roped to the side of the hill/cliff. It is definitely worth it to see the beautiful caves at the top. After the cave, we sailed over to another island which we were led on a kayaking tour around. We stopped at a swimming location that was beautiful. We ended the tour by feeding the monkeys in the mangroves. Our guide was awesome. He spoke enough English to make jokes, and made sure everyone was as safe as possible. If you aren’t physically fit, or don’t like climbing, you might want to pick one of the other tours that doesn’t have the cave. Or you can stay on the boat too.
Went with Diamond Cave Tour on a full day tour. Did 2 out of 3 caves due to rough water. Diamond cave was impressive and our guide was very helpful getting us around the cave! We kayaked, swam and fed monkeys for a wonderful day. Highly recommended!
We booked the half day trip to Koh Aung/Koh Kam/Talabeng, booking was easy a few WhatsApp messages. At the departure point we were directed onto our boat, passenger numbers checked ,we then arrived at Koh Phee and it dawned on us that we were on the wrong trip. We were on the tour that started with climbing into caves at Koh Phee. On arriving, I messaged the tour operators and explained the position, their response was merely to say that you can still climb. When I pointed out that we had the wrong footwear, flip-flops, they didn’t seem to think this was an issue. I did suggest that that Insurance may not cover any potential accident.Having checked the passenger numbers at departure, I can only assume that this was a deliberate mistake and they wanted to fill this trip.We spent much of the morning on the boat whilst the other passengers enjoyed the trip. Despite numerous messages to the organisers, there was no apology. If you do book with this company, please check that you are on the trip that you actually booked!
We enjoyed the half-day tour – climbing into a cave, kayaking, and watching monkeys (in their natural habitat). Tour guide was very nice and explained about the area. We took kids on the tour (10, 6), but the climbing into the cave is not easy, so depends on the kids.
