  1. I don’t have enough words to express how special this experience was. If you find yourself in Koh Lanta, this is a must. The mission behind this cooking class is heartwarming. Noi (Master Chef) is so welcoming, entertaining, and accommodating. Having a gluten allergy Noi showed us how to cook Thai food just as good with the plethora of substitutes to use. Not only that but teaching a better understanding of what food in Thailand has gluten and how to better work around the allergy. We had a blast and highly recommend this experience!

  2. My wife and I went to this cooking class today! It was wonderful! Noi, our teacher was fantastic his knowledge and cookery skills are something to be admired. He also has a wonderful personality with a great sense of humour. He made us feel relaxed and welcome. This is not just a cooking class, it’s an overall wonderful experience. If you want to, you can meet some of the dogs or dip in the pool during the breaks. We started with the most important part, learning how to make a cocktail! We were then taught about the different vegetables, herbs and spices and how to make curry paste. We then went on to learn how cook Spring rolls then onto a green curry and a stir fry. The fragrance of food, the variety of flavours and laughter made the day so joyous. The best part of all, this is not for profit, every Baht goes to the animals. They cater for vegetarians and vegans. This is a must do on the island. If you can, try and squeeze in the sanctuary tour. The work that is done here and on the island is truly incredible and heart warming. If you’re not a cook, this is still a great experience to do. You can cook on your own or as a couple.

  3. Amazing experience. Noi is a great chef, explains very clearly, shares a lot of information, tips and tricks. He makes the whole class very interesting and funny. What’s also incredible is that every profit goes for a great cause – Lanta Animal Welfare (which I also highly recommend to visit!). Thank you for this great day!

  4. The owner June and the chef Noi were not only great teachers, but also great fun (and spoke good English). We were taught how to make 3 cocktails and 4 dishes, including presentation. Super nice food & drinks. Nice location and nice meeting some of the rescued dogs and cats. Thank you for making it a memorable day!

  5. When you arrive, maybe you get confused by the look of the entrance. But when you walk through the gate, you enter a total different world. A well equipped kitchen and next to it a pool. The place is surrounded by a shelter for cats and dogs. You learn to make a cocktail and learn also about thai herbs and preparing thai food. The chef Noi was amazing. A good chef and most of all a very good entertainer. We had a lot of laughs. Surely a recommendation! And you also support the shelter with your visit.

  6. Great coockingexperience. Done in a humoristic way with a inspireing chef/teacher. Lovely owner and friendly staff. And they dop a great job with all the animals. Beate & GeirNorway

  7. This day out was amazing from start to finish…From cocktail making with Drew to cooking with Noi…All the staff (the kitchen ninjas) were brilliant and sooo friendly. We were lucky that our group were all good fun and the delicious cocktail at the beginning helped alleviate any shyness.Noi was extremely knowledgeable about Thai food and his English was brilliant, as were his jokes. We learned all about the ingredients, the preparation, and cooking and also how to adapt the flavours to different recipes and individual tastes…To top it all, any proceeds go towards the welfare of the stray dogs and cats on Koh Lanta…Thank you Time for Lime! Highly recommend this excellent day out.

  8. Brilliant!Great vibe, you learn about Thai culture through their food. I really liked the selection of dishes to be made and the level of detail in the explanations about the most used ingredients. Among all the schools that I checked online, this one seemed the most convenient for me by being a school inside an animal shelter and after attending I am happy with my right decision to choose them. You learn about Thai food and also help animals in need. They support Lanta Animal Welfare who make a great labor helping stray animals.

  9. Couldn’t recommend this class enough, not only do you get to support a wonderful charity, but the entire class is so well organised, informative and fun. Noi was hilarious and really helped make the day even better. Although we already cook a lot of Thai food at home, the class was still really informative and we learnt a great deal about balancing the fundamental flavours found in Thai cuisine. They offer hotel pick up and drop offs and they were also catered to a disability I have. Don’t hesitate about booking a just go ahead and do it! You will not regret it!

  10. Great experience with Junie and Noi in cooking class! Very good vibes and much better understanding what it Thai food is.

  11. We had a tremendous time during today’s cooking class – best experience during our stay on Lanta this year. Noi is an excellent teacher and has great sense of humour; he was keeping us fresh and engaged the whole day – and boy, it was a long one! We started at 11am and finished only after 4pm. The day was full of very well structured information about the Thai cuisine, how to’s, cooking, drinking, serving / decorating the dishes, drinking, eating, hanging out by the pool and hearing stories about the Time For Lime and Lanta Animal Welfare. We prepared a cocktail to start with, and three delicious dishes. Highly recommended to anyone who loves Thai cuisine, wants to do something new and support a good cause – the TFL and LAW crowd do everything with the love for the dogs and cats.
