We had a great evening at the Korner Bar on Koh Lanta. Variety of drinks in the perfect location, at the end of a quiet track on the left edge of the beachfront. Friendly staff and comfortable seating on cushions on the floor right in front of the sea. A great place for some quiet drinks and chilled out music.
A chilling location – you can relax, watch the sunset, have a cold beer. On Saturday you can party and dance and meet nice open minded people.
Korner deserves to be much higher in the list. It’s just a small humble place but they have good well priced cocktails, probably the cheapest on Long Beach. They have parties and they are right on the beach and you can watch the sunset from there. The owners are really nice and friendly and make an effort to chat to all their customers.

The place was recommended to us by our snorkeling guide. On Koh Lanta, there are different places having parties on different weekdays. At Korner Bar, the party is on Saturdays. There were quite a lot of people around, DJ was good at getting everyone to dance and the bartenders seemed to be having fun, too. Nice location on the beach.
Loved this place! We found ourselves coming back to this bar. The food was excellent. Staff were very friendly, I highly recommend!
The snack – a seafood salad – at lunchtime was only mediocre and the service seemed a bit overwhelmed. But the location is good, a cool beach bar with lots of shade. Recommended for drinks, I’m not sure about the food.
Went here twice, while the party was good and the music was good, the staff were friendly during the day but kind of stand offish in the evening.But more importantly these guys are thieves. Both me and my partner accidentally left our shoes, as it’s a beach bar and we had been walking around the island a lot with no shoes we forgot them, we went back the next day early to see if they had been handed in. They immediately said “no no, we have not seen any shoes”. It seemed suspicious but we thought oh well maybe another traveler or tourist had taken them. They asked us to come back next week for the party which we did and then found the staff wearing our shoes. After confronting them they started teasing us about how much we paid for the shoes and didn’t directly acknowledge the theft but didn’t for a second protest me getting them back and just gave us sneaky smiles. They then tried to sell us again asking to come back , which was unbelievable as we just caught them red handed, they couldn’t care less about their patrons and are just looking to take from people. We were very polite and kind prior to this and felt sour from the dishonest behaviour.Party good but don’t trust the staff, it all felt very off for brand considering the Thais I’ve met over my life.
