We sailed with a skipper around the islands of Koh Chang, Koh Mak and Koh Kood. Our boot, the SV Aello was a very fine and maintained owner owned Hanse 540. Organisation and communication before the sailing was OK, the sailing itself great.

As we haven’t been sailing for some years and for the first time in Thailand we hired David for the first day as a skipper. The yacht was the T-Punch. It was very well maintained and spotless clean. David did a fantastic job. He just gave us the right amount of support to get familiar with the yacht as well as with the estuary., not to much – not to less. We had a great time and we can highly recommend his yacht charter.
We had 2 days with skipper and did not regret the decision not to sail ourselves and got a captain on board. Our starting point was thong nai pan yai beach and got one day sailing south pangnan samui and one day sailed north to koh tao. Our captain was Denis himself and he was both a good tour guide and very professional in giving his guests privacy on board.Denis contacted us the day before departure and asked if we had the opportunity to reschedule one day because he did not think the weather forecast looked good for the following day .. We had the time so we did that.From the very beginning, the whole process has ben without problems of any kind.Do you dream about sailing in the gulf of thailand stop dreaming call Denis.
We’ve just spent two weeks on yachts from Sailing Koh Chang. Denis was helpful throughout the whole booking process and very knowledgeable on the area. The boats were very clean and cared for well. Denis was always available on the phone for any issues. I can’t quite express how beautiful the islands are – and even better you rarely see another yacht. We had some great sails, adventures on the island and some incredible food. We just wish we could have stayed longer – we hope to return soon.
I booked catamaran from Denis and we were sailing for 7 days in Koh Chang and Koh Kood area.. From the very beginning everything was very professional : communication, service , the captain -Dimitri and the boat Dimitri and his catamaran ..I hope to sail with them again.
Couldn’t really ask for more. Spotless boat, great guidance, beautiful islands to explore. Looking forward to returning as soon as possible.
Really excellent, can’t speak highly enough of Denis (regarding the boat and sailing) and Mai (regarding the provisioning and all the homely touches). Boat was first class, everything worked and was in good condition. The area was fabulous, beautiful empty bays and we saw very few other yachts.Briefing was good regarding safety and local area. We will be back:-)
Would highly recommend booking a trip on ‘Malee’!! Incredible yacht with everything you need, which made our sail around Koh Chang, Koh Mak and Koh Kut one to remember. Already looking forward to our next sailing adventure with Sailing Koh Chang on the fabulous Malee.
An amazing week had on “For Sail” Lagoon 450F Catamaran. Mai and Denis looked after everything for us from when we got there until we left, highly recommended.
