  1. There are several people who are so important for Koh Chang. They are trying to show you the hidden images of the island and make you love it forever. These people are trying to present you the real non-touristic reality and trying to keep it unchanged. Thomas is one of them. We spent a fantastic day with him: finding the mystery of the mangroove forest, trekking in the jungle, feeding animals or just chilling out in a beatiful fruits plantation. He`ll give you the cоnfidence to do the things you woudnt dare to and be your friend the whole trip. Thank you Thomas, we`ll bring our children as we promised!

  2. We booked a day trip with Thomas. His english is excellent and easy to understand. He know the island and the different spots to be visited. Swimming in the waterfallwas the top moment of our day. All organized in a professional manner and I would recommend Thomas for a day with content when visiting Ko Chang.

  3. Thomas took me and the my two children on a day tour of some unspoilt parts of the island. He knows the locals, and makes sure you get to try everything that is unique to the island. He looked after us well.We went kayaking, waterfall swimming, lunch and a elephant feeding. The east coast is SO much nicer than the west coast if you are a traveller and he’s the man to show you it.No hidden costs!

  4. Thomas gave us a great day long tour of Koh Chang. We were able to kayak in a mangrove forest, have great coffee at a local coffee plantation (best espresso I’ve ever had), splash at a secluded beach, hike to a hidden waterfall, watch him help bag a cobra snake (totally unplanned), feed bananas to some elephants, and have a marvelous dinner at a local restaurant. His English is outstanding. If you have read this far, book a tour with him NOW.

  5. We (two adults, two teenagers) booked Thomas via Facebook messenger, and then kept in touch with him via WhatsApp. We decided to go for a day’s nature trip, and Thomas promptly picked us up from the Santhiya Tree on the morning of 29th December.Thomas is such a lovely personable guy, and we immediately knew that we were going to get on very well. He one one of the key members in a movement to preserve Koh Chang’s ecological diversity and protect the island and its population from the ravages of pollution. The whole tour was refreshingly conducted with this in mind.We saw and did a lot, but at no point felt rushed. First, we stopped at a delightful coffee shop almost in the middle of nowhere. We sampled the lovely coffee, which they grow and process themselves and had a look around the substantial cottage garden. Then it was on to the mangrove area of the island. There, we embarked on a boat and had a long, slow paddle around the myriad of channels. The boat was paddle-powered by what can only be described as a Thai Gondolier. I’ve done Venice, but never again after this utterly blissful experience. Then we returned to the fishing village for a bit of a wander around. I should say, at this point, that Thomas seemed to know everybody. Often, we would pull up at some nondescript stall in a small village and Thomes would leap out and bring us some tasty morsel to try.Our next stop was at a Wat (temple). It was just stunning. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such intricately painted murals before. It was so peaceful too – not a soul around. The big one for me was our next stop, the mangrove boardwalk. It’s an easy and well-maintained walk right through the middle of a mangrove swamp. It was so quiet and peaceful, and a truly lovely experience culminating in a short hop to a lovely restaurant bordering the mangrove. Great views there, a couple of snacks and some much-appreciated cold beer. A late lunch beckoned, and Thomas took us to a restaurant called Blues Blues. He had phoned ahead with our menu choice, so the truly delicious meal was pretty much ready by the time we sat down at this delightful little venue. I should note here that all the food and drink was included in Thomas’s price. And our final destination was to see the elephants. One hears a lot about protecting elephants from the ravages of a working life, and very little about the intelligent integration of elephants into Koh Chang society as useful, protected and admired contributors to daily life. Thomas described how the former, and louder, voices can drown out the voices of the latter. He certainly made me realise that life is much more complicated than just stopping elephants from picking up logs. Certainly, the elephants we saw looked like they were having a lot of fun.Thomas is a Trash Hero. Once a week, with a group of like-minded friends, he ventures out on to beaches and roads and picks up every trace of litter. Certainly, Koh Chang is very litter-free. When he told me about this, I became sensitive to any traces of litter by the side of the road. I couldn’t see any. Thomas made such an impression on us that we decided to make a very small contribution, and picked up as much as we could on the road leading from our hotel to the local town. We barely got a couple of hundred metres from the hotel and our bags were full. Endearingly, the hotel staff saw what we had done (not enough, as far as we could see) and were very grateful.Thomas is a real gem! We are so pleased to have booked him for the day, and would certainly do so again. Thank you so much, Thomas – for not only providing a great tour, but really caring about this lovely island.

  6. We went on mountain climbing with Thomas. We climbed to top of Koh Chang. I underline one thing: you must be in good physical condition if you take part in that experience. Climbing was rough with some very difficult parts. Twisting you angle could be catastrophical up there. Good not slippery shoes must have. Also you must carry lot of water with you. Experience can be 1 star or 5 star, depending on your own condition. I give 3 star because it was almost too much for me. My legs started to cramp during coming down and legs were stiff two days after climbing. Swimming in waterfall at the end of the trip was very welcoming.

  7. Thomas guided myself and my daughter (16years) for full day of trekking, swimming in waterfall, walking in mangrove forest, visiting local fisherman village ang cayaking in mangrove forest. The day was perfect! Thomas is friendly, knows so much about the nature and clearly cares about the nature! For trekking wear good shoes, and if possible do it in the morning (it was hot enough already then 😀)I really recommend the cayaking in mangrove forest!

  8. We booked a day with Thomas on friday, the 12th to do some trekking and sightseeing and let’s just say that we were really pleased ! Booking with Thomas was really easy and smooth and he really adapted to our schedule and our interests ! And bonus he didn’t only take us places but really shared his knowledges of the island which gave a really instructive touch to the day 🙂 Also he even picked up some fresh plants that he cooked for me when he learnt I was a vegetarian ! I recommend Thomas hands down to anyone who wishes to discover a non touristic side of Koh chang 🙂

  9. Good service! Nice vehicles. Convenient to be dropped off at the hotel and avoid the hassle of ferry fees. Can warmly recommend the company.

  10. We did a private island tour with Thomas with two adults and two children. It was really great. We’ve seen and learned so much. The day was relaxed and active, with kayaking in the mangrove, a jungle hike, delicious local lunch, beach and a visit to a fishing village. Thomas makes the day fun and interesting; he is a very good guide!
