Ao Sapparot Pier is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking Rural Rd, 23170, Thailand
Ao Sapparot is one of two main piers on Koh Chang (Centrepoint is the other). This is your first and also last view of Koh Chang. Very busy with boats plying back and forth every half hour or so except lunchtime when there is an hour break. Half an hour across, an excellent way to start the holidays.
This place will be visited only when you arrive or depart Ko Chang. There are only a few taxis there but no other infrastructure.
Ao Sapparot is the main pier on Ko Chang, so most visitors pass through the pier arriving and leaving the island. We were recently there for Songkran holiday (one of the busiest times for the ferry service) and were quite impressed by how efficiently and orderly they managed the queues and loading and unloading.
