Two Sea Tour is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking 83000, Thailand
Our tour guide (owner) and his team were exceptional. They accommodated my teenage son with a broken leg as well as our younger children. Food was amazing. Overall – could not have imagined a better experience.
Myself and a friend signed up to do this tour last minute while travelling through Thailand. We wanted very much to see the nature in this park, but were concerned that it would be overrun with tourists and ruin the experience. This turned out to be an ideal solution, the numbers on the trip were of perfect size, and the time that we went out led to an almost isolated experience. I don’t think I will ever forget the experience of kayaking into a cave to be met with a hidden jungle. The foliage climbing to the sky, with monkeys and birds heard all around was a spectacular visage. It was as if I had journeyed to the centre of the earth and was miles away from all civilisation.I cannot recommend this enough.
We had such a great time on the Two Seas Tour. It was great food, great company and we learned so much. It was very educational with amazing scenery. Could not have asked for a better day.
I was very anxious about booking with two seatours as their price was very high and hence my expectations were very high. Our experience was magical from start to end. I think I was pretty anxious about trying to find a fault and anxious I had made a poor investment. The trip was flawless. We had so much fun with the crew and other couples, when it is such a small intimate group you actually get to know the other people. We ended up making new friends, touring Phuket with them and 8 months later are still in contact even though we are half way across the globe.I think that this product appeals to people who want Tailormade adventures and we definitely found that the people on the boat tended to all be people who had conciously chosen the company.Through the covid crisis one of my big fears was actually that two sea tour might not be around in a few years time when I hopefully will return to Thailand with my kids and sharing this experience with them is one of the absolute top experiences from Thailand on my list.Do not even hesitate to book. This trip cost almost as much as out international flight tickets to get to Thailand. And I would do the same your over again because it is worth it. The attention to detail cannot be beaten. We had fresh water showers to wash the salty sea water off us…I honest think that the caves and beach at the end were better than James Bond island but the tour got you to see everything. The personal photographer paddlers were so thoughtful and made special heart frames out of leaves to take photos on a phone at James Bond island. It was just magical.
From pick up to drop off at our hotel, everything was perfect. Philippe and Sak are operating a top notch tour company. The entire crew were friendly and helpful. You can tell that they all care about the beauty of the National Park and want their guests to have a great day.The canoe rowers are great and know all of the best photo spots. We had a great day and ended up with lots of good photos. The metal water bottle and waterproof bag they give you to keep are a very nice touch. The best part was that we got to most of the stops before anyone else was there. It was an early pick up, but definitely worth it to avoid the crowds. I highly recommend taking this tour!
I very rarely write reviews of anything but loved my experience with this tour so much I feel compelled to leave a review. I have visited Southern Thailand several times over the years and can say from my experience with other floating tours that no other tour comes close to offering the phenomenal experience of Two Sea Tour. Which is why I’ve ridden with these guys not once but twice! Other tours will whisk you from spot to spot for quick photo ops, along with dozens of other tourists on an overcrowded boat. This tour is the EXACT opposite of that, but what especially sets this tour apart is (1) the exceptional and extremely attentive staff and (2) their commitment to sustainable tourism. (1) Staff. Most of the staff are proficient in English and very knowledgeable about all the sites, the history of the area, etc. My wife always loves to pepper guides anywhere with questions, and they were always ready with thought out, informative answers. (Not like then made-up or incomprehensible answers we often get from other guides.) They’re also dedicated to ensuring your safety. With a maximum of 8 customers per tour on a fairly large boat, you basically have a ratio 1 staff member per customer. This is important as navigating the underwater caves on canoe or foot can be very dangerous. They were also very attentive when I traveled with my 90-year old grandmother who has trouble walking – taking care to carefully lift her on and off the canoes. They’re also always ready to take your pictures for you, for no extra charge. Oh, did I mention that the lunch (cooked fresh on board) was to die for?(2) Sustainability – Southern Thailand in recent years has unfortunately has become over-touristed and over-developed. Local authorities and other tour companies have been complicit in this, pushing quantity over quality, i.e. cheap packaged tours in large groups. This tour is a breath of fresh air in comparison (literally and figuratively). Each day’s group tour is limited to 8 customers, which creates the feel of a private tour. The tour sets out very early (5:00 am!) before any of the crowds arrive, giving you a unique chance to observe the fascinating wildlife in the lagoons of Phang Nga Bay in peace and quiet (all the animals disappear once the mass tour groups arrive later in the day). The tour is definitely on the pricey side, but this is truly a case of getting what you pay for. Don’t make the long trip to Southern Thailand to only cheap out on a generic group tour. If you’re just interested in being shuttled from photo op to photo op for Instagram, then I guess you don’t need to bother with this. But if you’re one who likes to stop and savor the smell of flowers, to get a deeper understanding of what you’re seeing, and to support environmentally and ecologically sustainable tourism, this is your only real option. It’s worth every penny – you won’t regret it.
Don’t want to reiterate what everyone else has said, but will “second” their positive comments. This is a prime example of “you get what you pay for” (and they are not *that* much more than others). Philippe is awesome – an extremely positive, informative, and likable fellow. He leads all the tours and his enthusiasm is contagious. You learn a lot on this tour. You are well care for on this tour. You are safe on this tour. I researched to death all the other tours and saw many of them during our sailing. Nothing else compared. The boat is very clean and well maintained. Two bathrooms. Plenty of room for all to spread out. The food was awesome. For the small premium they charge, it is well worth it.
It was a 5-Star experience all the way around. Email communication and payment were clear and easy. They picked us up and dropped us off as agreed and everything in the middle was top notch. The food, the education, the boat, the team, the locations, the canoeing – it was all fabulous. A special thank you to Phileppe and Sak for the wonderful day! We would highly recommend!!
This is my third review for Two Sea Tour and can honestly say they are the best. If you want a relaxing cruise, great scenery, excellent commentary, fabulous food with no hassles from pick up from your accommodation to return, this company is the master class. I highly recommend this cruise to anyone visiting Phuket because there is no other way of doing or seeing Phang Nga Bay and the associated Islands. This experience will thrill you with a personal experience with your own canoe captain entering caves and inland seas of tranquility and local wildlife. Once again we were pleasantly surprised to see Monkeys, walking fish, monitors and eagles. Thanks Philppe and Crew.Gavin and JayneAllan and KarrenGraeme and Tracey20/2/2020
