We were staying here at one of the resort villas, the concept is good, but with more empty shops than open ones, and only a couple of good restaurants out of the many it was a let down. The fact that you can not ride your scooter inside is stupid and stops people from wanting to come in and look around. The walk from the scooter park to the restaurants is about 15 min, in the hot heat. And then there is noting much to see. The security are rude and middle gate. Good things – great scooter rental at the from entry – behind the taxi stand – very nice man, very good deal $200 baht per day, great scooter Great laundry service – by taxi stand only $30 baht per kgAnd the best, Massage is at Toi so by the taxi stand turn down the side road and last shop – great service and 1/3 of the price of the overpriced hotels and resorts. Food market is handy Fantastic Italian Resturant Marina is a waste of time. And Villas are very run down, dirty,
Great value for money, conveniently located at a reasonable distance from the airport, and close to a giant shopping mall called Central Festival in Phuket Town. Great pool by a marina. Bedrooms very clean, quiet and cosy. Staff a very polite and helpful. Buffet breakfast was mediocre. There was also an excellent Supermarket in the complex, very well stocked with varieties, even hard to find quorn (vegetarian food). Will definitely stay here again.
I like the pool here. It’s big and pretty. The atmosphere is beautiful and peaceful.Comfortable travel.
The Boat Lagoon has a lot to offer for visiting Yauchties.Chandleies, little cafes and accommodation for people either having their vessels refit, or simply a shore based place to live. Not the cheapest lifestyle, or necessarily a way to absorb the local cultures
The waterfront house we stayed in for our holiday was nice and quiet, plenty of space for a couple, well appointed, maid service twice a day, clean and tidy, the pool was clean and the pool bar had a full and varied menu, we ate there most evening, the staff were delightful and so helpful. The location as a whole was limited in its getting about, one needed a taxi or private car, no local bus service. No beach, it was set in a marina, with some restaurants and shops and a supermarket in a small shopping mall.
You would think being next to two marinas in Phuket would bring in a great resort. It isn’t great. It is a good hotel but the professionalism lacked in the front desk. Not all personnel were rude but it only takes one bad apple to make an expression of how your front is run. I had extended my stay for two of my guest because they flew 2 days after me. no issues there, I had a card on file and everything. So I was checking out myself and was running a little late to the airport. So I told them to just charge whatever is missing on the card, there was nothing missing. She insisted that I wait for the next 10 minutes for the room to be checked as if I stole something. Her attitude was bad probably because I kept on insisting I had to catch a flight. I told her to charge the card on file for both the rooms that my guest were still staying in and if any drinks are drank they can charge the card. She insisted that was not possible because the card holder had to be here. I told her I would sign a credit card charge form if need be. She kept me there for the next 10 minutes after the room arguing with me. IT was insane. We stayed there 3 nights + 2 more nights for the additional 2 rooms and this is how we are treated. Will not be staying here again.
This complex was far away from most of the islands attractions, handy only if you wanted cruises from the marina. Very few restaurants and bars to choose from and you feel isolated. Transport to and from the lagoon is limited to private cars and taxis which makes the day expensive even to travel to a market place.
Has position and basics to be much better if more maintenance and Greater staff involvement . eg floor rotted out by pool and guest went thru . Pool cushions left out in rain and at night so wet and mouldy smelling yet staff standing around talking ?? Staff friendly and helpful but need training to be aware of top standards
Inside is the different world. I never seen this kind of place before. But I come to take yacht inside boat lagoon. Inside not so crowded so I like it.
The staffs and the boat crew members are very friendly. The yacht is good, and the lighthouse is gorgeous.
