Tan was an excellent tour guide! We booked a sunset tour for 2 pax. It was our first time doing SUP and Tan was extremely patient and told us to just relax and enjoy. We stopped at a small island and stayed on the rocks and ended looking for oysters! What an amazing experience. Tan was a tour guide who would go out of his way to ensure our safety and comfort. I would highly recommend anyone looking to do some relaxing paddle to look for Tan.
Paddle boarding with Tan was my favorite tour from my Thailand trip. We did the half-day mangroves tour. Started the day with a picked up from our hotel. We stopped along the way to pick up some snacks and amazing chicken, before heading to a small fishing village. I had never paddle boarded before, but Tan had me feeling confident and ready to go in minutes. Tan is a very knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly guide. If you want a fun adventure, in beautiful scenery without other tourists this is the trip for you.
My daughter came to Phuket for only a few days and the one thing she wanted to do was stand up paddleboarding.I rang Tan and he was driving so he asked me to message him, so i did, texting and also emailing. He didn’t reply so after a day or so my daughter booked us on Tripadvisor. After that Tan email replied and apologised he got confused when speaking to someone else and thought it was us. Fair enough. So we were booked, Tan emailed and asked to chat on phone, we did, all went well, and all was friendly. he organised to pick my daughter up at 7.25am at the hotel and asked me to ride motorbike to meet at a designated area to make it easier for him, then said he’d email more details about what to bring, etc, this was 8 pm the night before.He never emailed the details, so I emailed him an hour later asking what to bring, no reply.My daughter is out front of hotel by herself at 7.15 am eagerly waiting and i ride to Central Phuket where he asked me to be. At 7.30 am daughter rang and says he was not there yet, I said I’ll call him. Call 3 times over 30 minutes and no answer, just a message machine, I ask him to call me. Around 8 am my daughter’s phone gets a message from Tripadvisor that the booking is canceled. We don’t know if that’s a mistake so we wait till 8.30 am.Devastated and confused we give up, no call or email from Tan, no apology or reason, nothing, at all ever. My daughter was devastated, and i was extremely annoyed at the disrespect and inconsideration, and abandonment.Tan has never emailed, texted, or phoned since. It would have taken 30 seconds to call us, and he had the number in his phone and in his email.Clearly Tan has more than one personality.
An amazing tour. Tan is incredibly friendly, chatty and energetic. He taught me how to paddle and took care of me throughout the journey. He provided amzing snacks and drinks too. It was by far my favourite tour during my Thailand trip. I will definitely do it again in the future. I highly recommend it!
Tan and his team went above and beyond to accomodate for me and my mum. We had a last min booking and Tan found a perfect beach for beginner SUP. This was the best thing we did during our Phuket trip. Nice and relaxing. Also thanks for the plentiful snacks. Real warm Thai hospitality 🙂 highly recommend.
Our Phuket SUP Mangrove tour was super fun for our family of four! A highlight of our time in Phuket. Enjoyed peaceful tour through beautiful mangroves on Kung Bay. Tan is a great guide.
Tan was incredible! A very genuine and thoughtful man. The views were beautiful and the area very peaceful. You will not regret booking this tour. He took the time to get to know us, as we did with him. This experience was easily the highlight of our Phuket trip.
