Had such a nice and fun day! The rafting was great and we saw lots of elephants and other animals. We laughed with the guide the hole time and ended up sliding down a waterfall. I can highly recommend! 🙂
I went on this tour with my 14- and 11-year old children. We got picked up at our hotel in Chiang Mai (on time :)) and had about a 1 hour 20 minutes drive to the base. On the way there we got an understanding of how much damage the recent floods did to this area. At the rafting base we immediately got our life jackets and helmets and were able to put our bags in their lockers. We got a short introduction into rafting and what to do when certain orders were being given. :)There was a lot of water in the river (which btw is very brown!) today and the rapids looked a bit scary, especially for our 11-year old. Our guide Mimi though was great! He was so helpful at all times, very confident and fun too! We had a lot of water in our boat and obviously ended up soaking wet! 🙂 At one point we had to get out of the water, take a one minute drive to another entry point to board the boat again as it was too dangerous to go on that part of the river. After the rafting we were taken to a waterfall where we had the opportunity to slide down it. That certainly took me out of my comfort zone but it was great fun! Again, Mimi was great the whole time, helping where he could but also not pressuring anyone into doing anything they did not want! We got served a typical Thai lunch after having had a shower (expect cold water from a big water bucket) before we were taken back to Chiang Mai. All the staff was very friendly and funny, happy people! We had a fantastic time and the kids created some really lovely memories! To top it all off, we were sent a lot of pictures of our rafting tour afterwards -free of charge!! We’d go with them again at any time.

Had some really good experiences with our guides Tom and Mike.They we’re very fun and looking for our safety.The Rafting: awesome, the opposite of boring, have seen some elephants doing a bath too, what would you want more.Would recommend it.We did the half day tour, the full day tour (which means 1h more rafting), whould be still more fun I guess.

My favourite day spend. Good energy from the staff, felt safe and looked after. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a fun day and the take you out of your comfort zone.
