I note the poor reviews below, but i found The Artist to be very good for a 1 hr massage for 250 baht. This place was recommended by the manager of our hotel and we had a great experience, better than our massage the day before at one of the cheaper places.Foot bath first for a few minutes, then we were taken upstairs to another room to get changed into massage linen clothes. Massage was very good – my masseuse worked on my legs first and concentrated on calves, quads and glutes that were quite tight. Then arms, back (got out a lot of knots), head and then face. She had great pressure and really worked my muscles well – i felt great afterwards.The decor is nice, staff friendly. No one spoke on a phone during the hour for any of us (but we had older staff, maybe the younger ones do this?)I really enjoyed this massage, better than any i had had in Thailand before. Give it a go!
A friend and I picked the Artist on a whim as we liked the atmosphere of the spa. Thankfully we picked right and enjoyed our 1 hour treatment. It was very relaxing and the massage itself felt amazing – I felt fantastic after leaving! I know there are heaps of spas to visit in CM but I would have no issues returning to the Artist!
This was a very unskilled massage. The woman pressed hard and it was painful particularly around my private area. I told her it hurts and she laughed. It was awful.
Had a great 90 minute massage here. My therapist was great. It was so much better than the other massages I got in Chiang Mai, I came back the next day.
I come here for massages all the time and have not been disappointed even once. Even when you come late at night (and most massage ladies are tired after hours) their staff is still friendly happy and perform an amazing job.I always come back here.
We have been coming to Chiang Mai for 10 to 15 years but this is certainly one of the nicest massage spas we’ve been to. Staff is very nice and they have one of the most competitive prices in town even if they have a key location. Not only is the massage good but The tea, fruit and cookies afterwards are all excellent and usually the competitors only give bad tea! Highly recommended.
The ladies took great care of myself and 8 year old daughter. It was a really great experience all the way through
