Chang Thai Heritage is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking 107 Baanmuangkued T. Kuedchang A. Meeting ,Chiangmai, 50200, Thailand
This sanctuary was AMAZING! Such an interactive experience. We fed the elephants sugar cane & the banana tree we cut down ourselves. We made medicine for them, fed it to them, gave them mud baths & then bathed them in the river. We also learned how & made our own Pad Thai for lunch. Great guide nam d Phone who was extremely informative & she was funny tooThe elephants also kissed us on the cheeks & gave us hugs with their trunk. I’d give it 10 stars if possible.
This is was a wonderful experience, we had an amazing day feeding and bathing the elephants. Our tour guide, Two was really lovely and funny. This is a small sanctuary with only 4 elephants and the mud bath was very small.
I was part of a guided tour, in the morning we went to see the elephants, feed and bath them, while in the afternoon we went rafting. Staff has been extremely nice and happy to show us around and explaining everything in details, they took good care of us.Highly recommend a visit to this place 🙂
Thank you for the great experience. Our tour was a little shorter than expected because the pick up in chiang mai was delayed but the time at the camp with the elephants was really, really great. We enjoyed those 2 hours at the camp – if we ever come back we will surely book a full day. Our tour guide Mr. Tu was great as well. My husband forgot his sunglasses in the camp which was returned to us the next day to the hotel – we appreciated that a lot and would like to thank you again!
This trip was super fun. Big reccomend. The guide that we had during the day was super dedecated and had a lot knowledge.
Excellent day out! The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. So much fun getting up close and personal to the Elephants. Didi was my favourite 🙂 The Elephants are treated well with plenty of space to run around and explore. The waterfall trek and white water rafting was a great addition for just 200baht more. I wish it was rainy season as it would of made it 10 times better but still great fun and an all round good day! Recommend to everyone of all ages
We had an amazing time. Shuttle was on time and clean. Guides were amazing!Chang Thai heritage treat their elephants well, it’s immediately apparent. All the elephants were well behaved. We got to cut sugar cane, feed them, hang out, mud bath them and clean them off in the river! After the made pad Thai, that was great. Highly recommended.
Amazing experience our guide Jean was excellent very knowledgeable and spoke perfect English, the elephants are very well looked after which was a must when we booked. The pad thai was also very good.
