Diving with Tom was great. He is taking the time to explain things properly and in details.I really liked the 2 dives half day schedule (returning by 12.30 pm is great as it gives you the whole afternoon free for other activities or just to chill). The quality of the equipment was very good especially the BCD and the fins. And to make the experience even more memorable Tom has uploaded a bunch of pics directly on my phone at the end of the dives. I strongly recommend Aussie Divers. I hope I will be able to dive with you guys again soon!
Returning client after diving with Tom, one of Aussiedivers’ star diver in Phuket. After doing a discover dive with Tom, I decided to do my open water certificate with him. He is a responsible, detail oriented, super experienced diver who is patient, methodological in his teaching. He is also very helpful, thanks to his fluency in thai. Nothing could go wrong with Tom, be it in or out of water.If there are grades among open water certificates, PADI should probably plate gold or platinum on Aussiediver graduates’ certificate. This is how confident I am after taking his open water certificate course. I have dived with a few dive shops, and have seen divers who doesn’t possess the aforementioned traits. The water world could be unforgiving at times, and you would really hope to be under good hands of someone like Tom to dive with you when things go wrong. All my dives with Tom went pretty perfect. These first few dives with happy experiences in turn sparks my affinity to the nature and aspiration to go up on the PADI diving ladder.Let me thank you again for guiding us through diving in thailand. It is truly my pleasure to dive with him.I would wholeheartedly endorse Tom to any aspiring divers. I can’t wait to join him and Aussiedivers’ for my next underwater adventure.
I was there for learning more advance and do fun dive on my bd. Dive trip was like a VIP ☺️. Tom is a very good instructor, very kind and nice. Captain and crew “Mao” very nice people. Thank you for a nice driver also. I will be back again very impress.
I am an experienced diver and my gf wanted to get into the sport. After doing her open water cert the plan was to follow that up with some fun dives and her advanced open water. My friend another instructor had told me hands down that if I was going to Tao to find Tom and do her advanced with him and he was 100% right! Tom was fluent in Thai which made things much more comfortable for her, was very clear in explaining and demonstrating skills, and went back to help teach some of the things that her ow instructor had left out. Overall he helped her to become very comfortable in the water. The cerw and staff were friendly and helpful and overall it was a great experience at a very well run dive center. There are many great dive centers in Tao, but I can definitely sign off on this experience being one of if not the best and if you are an English or Thai speaking student you will be in great hands.
Although there were some hiccups (nothing related to the Aussie Diver team) I had a great trip! The team was extremely supportive in making sure everything was ready and basically I just had to show up and dive. Tom was a great resource when I was having some travel issues and Darren was kind enough to take time out of his weekend to help me find equipment prior to the trip. The resort was gorgeous and pretty much all my friends back home are jealous. ? I would recommend bringing some bug spray cause the mosquitoes are aggressive and probably want to avoid taking the train due to possible delays.
I had very knowledgeable instructor Tom to guide me thru the Advance course. Definitely worth the time and effort to come Kho Tao. Wonderful day and night dive with clear visibility. Highly recommend to get your PADI certified OW and Advance like me. Certainly come back for my nexr fun dive!
