I must say that my experience with Charm Churee Divers has been superb. I did the Open Water Course with instructor Mo who was well-organised, patient and thorough in her instruction. Although I was nervous at first Mo’s calm manner made it a relaxing experience and soon I was really enjoying myself. Having completed the 3-day course I was hungry for more. I had a chat with affable Lorne (he who runs the the show) and with organisational skills akin to those of Field Marshall Montgomery he had my 5 Adventure Dives arranged quicker than you can say ‘snorkel’. For these dives I was taught by two other instructors – Josu and Brett – who both made sure that I had a great time while always staying safe. I met several other members of staff at Charm Churee and they’re all very colourful characters who, together, create a really fun and communal atmosphere. I received my Advanced Open Water Certification yesterday after zooming through the water with a Dive Propulsion Vehicle…James Bond has nothing on me! Highly recommended. Special mention to manager Lorne who offers advice on every aspect of Koh Tao island, offers great diving deals and is an incredibly nice bloke!
My wife did multiple pleasure dives with the Charm Churee Divers and she was very impressed with the professionalism and fun nature of the team. Charm Churee Divers have the best Dive boat on the Island and very good instructors made for an all-round fantastic experience for all. The dive sites around Koh Tao are beautiful with great visibility and amazing coral and fish life. In addition to the fantastic diving they gave great island information about where to eat and what to do on the Island. Thanks to Lorne, Merlin, Andy and Sex-Panther the Cat for a great experience. When we are back in Koh Tao we will definitely be using Charm Churee Divers again. 11 out 10 top marks.

My 11year old son had an introduction to diving lesson. Great experience as he had a one to one lesson in the sea, walking in from the beach. No bubbling around a pool with half a dozen others. The instructor, Merlin was super competent, great with kids and my son was swimming with the fish at about 7metres. It wasnt the cheapest option but worth it for a memorable experience that he may persue when he is older.
I opted for Charm Churee Divers for my Open Water PADI certification. From the moment I arrived the staff were incredibly helpful and provided me with all the safety information needed for PADI. I went diving with an expert called “Geegee”, around the coral in Jamson Bay; we saw an electic mix of sea life, including two rare large turtles and even a black fin shark (Don’t worry, they’re small and harmless!). I would recommend for any person looking to have a dive of a lifetime, that is fully PADI accredited. 5/5
I dived with Charm Churee for three days – two days on the boat, one from the beach at Jansom Bay. The staffs were friendly and professional and the boat was a good one (in comparison with the others). Overall, I had a good time, even though the weather was not very good (rainy and huge waves). Next time, I go there, I will try the DPV. This time, I chickened out at last minute.
Charm churee divers located at Jansom Bay which is a great place to mix a relaxing day at a beautiful beach with a spectacular diving experience without spending the whole day on boat trips. Even if you are not a certified diver you can do a DSD (discover scuba diving) and see amazing things just 200 m from the beach.Besides, the staff is highly professional & very friendly.Highly recommended for families !
Having arrived on Koh Tao as newbie divers, we happened to stumble upon this dive centre and were welcomed by a team who immediately appeared passionate and knowledgeable. If you want to experience any form of diving in Koh Tao, from an introductory course to an open water PADI, I can assure you this is the place. The staff are patient, informative and most importantly friendly. Our diver master GiGi was a wonderful teacher, who’s knowledge and deliverance has left my partner and I feeling confident and invigorated. Knowing Koh Tao and it’s reputation for excellent diving, I felt that we saw the best of what the island had to offer on our 3 day open water course and I wouldn’t change a thing!
Went to Charm Churee Divers with no experience. We was taken good care of by the staff, who followed us step by step through the Open Water course. The CCD crew was very friendly and helpsome during our stay here. They invited us to a hole new world. So thank you for takeing us with you to your fantastic underwater world. We also got our dive recorded on a dvd, so when we want to experience it again,it’s there forever. So again, thank you and for sure we will see you again.
Charm churee had some of the most service set staff we met on our vacation! Our diving coach helped us with everyting we needed and thought us many important things about diving. He also made sure everyone were feeling comfortalble in the water and pushed us a little bit out of our comfort zones. I am definitely going back to the best diving resort in Koh Tao!!
