Treasure Island challenge is the number one thing to do on Koh Tao. Amazing day out and great way to explore the island, also great to team up with other people and find the treasure in a group. The staff are amazing and the day is planned really well, would highly recommend doing when visiting Koh Tao.
Treasure Island Challenge blends the buzz of a treasure hunt/escape room, with the excitement of a small group tour across the island. It really is a great way to discover Koh Tao.We made special arrangements to complete the challenge on a day tour from Koh Samui, arriving on the first ferry and leaving on the last. It worked out perfectly and allowed us to see a lot of the island in a fun way.Our guide, Aimmy, was kind, patient and a lot of fun. The food and drinks were delicious and high-quality. The locations chosen for the tour are stunning. And the game play is challenging and very well thought-out.And it is incredible value for money. Don’t be put off by the low price tag, this is a premium tour that could justifiably double its asking price.I highly recommend this tour to travellers of all ages. Single travellers, couples, groups and families will all enjoy the day. We were blown away!

We really loved this treasure hunt trip! We had a great small group one other couple from the UK and we really teamed up great. The puzzles were good and challenging. We hoped we would also have to snorkel for clues but the tide was too low. We did snorkel though on amazing spots and saw some baby sharks.We would really recommend this tour!!
We really can’t recommend this tour enough!We took part in this tour as a group of 5 friends in our mid-20s and it was one of the highlights of our time in Thailand. Originally I booked this tour as there honestly aren’t many ways to get around Koh Tao if you don’t want to rent a moped. However, the calibre of the tour really blew us away and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.While you can be in a group of up to 12, we were the only participants on our day. While we expected some simple puzzles geared towards families, the puzzles were genuinely challenging and very creative – we ended up needing hints and really enjoyed trying to figure them all out! We also loved how people throughout the island were in on the secrets of the tour – I won’t spoil the adventure as the surprises were part of what made it amazing, but I will say that this is so much more than just a tour of the island. There was so much food and drink included that the day felt like amazing value. We had hiking to a viewpoint, snorkelling stops, a beach-front lunch and so much more. Aimmy was an amazing guide and knew exactly when we were feeling stumped by the puzzles. The tour was truly a highlight of our time in Thailand and an amazing way to see the key parts of the island in one day while having added fun.
This was such a brilliant experience! It was fun to solve the puzzles together, but also a really great way to see the island. There were a real range of destinations: from snorkelling to dramatic viewpoints and idyllic coves. The food was delicious and our tour guides, Aimmy and Nick were really helpful, kind and patient– they made the experience even more fun and couldn’t do enough for us. Totally recommend.
What a fantastic day the Treasure Island Challenge gave us! We are a family of 4 with children aged 8 and 6 and this trip would be just as enjoyable for anyone of any age. If you want to be let in on all the most beautiful secrets of Koh Tao then you really must do this one of a kind trip. The snorkeling was the best snorkelling we’ve ever done and at least as good as the best scuba diving we’ve ever done too. The walks were just the right level of challenge to be rewarded with the most stunning postcard perfect viewpoints. The food was the best we’ve eaten in Thailand and we were only disappointed when we couldnt manage it all. Aime was so organised and efficient at keeping us on track to solve all the clues and complete our quest. She was also fantastic at boosting our youngest child’s confidence snorkeling. Trust us, the price of the trip will be justified, don’t miss it!
MUST DO! Treasure Hunt Island in Koh Tao was honestly one of the best things I did during my trip! It’s like an escape room that spans the whole island. You spend 5-6 hours solving puzzles and finding clues that lead you from one amazing spot to another – stunning viewpoints, hidden beaches, and some of the best snorkeling spots I’ve seen (if you’re in Koh Tao you’ll probably do it separately in a less fun way).The whole experience is super well-organized and even has locals joining in to make it more fun and immersive. It’s perfect for young travelers or small groups looking for something totally unique and exciting. I can’t recommend it enough – this was truly a highlight!+The guide takes loads of photos and videos of you during the trip!
