Mr. Pop was fantastic, I walked past them and immediately had the scooter I wanted.I really felt I could trust them, they were sincere, warm and friendly with excellent English, and sound honest advice about insurance and costs.The rental was very affordable, and bike in excellent condition.All my concerns of being conned or tricked by operators were wiped away by this lovely mom and dad couple that have been running this long-standing and clearly reputable businessI contacted many operators in Chiang Mai for bike rentals, many seemed uninterested, unhlepful or did not respond.

We rented 2 bikes (Honda cb 500 x) for our 3 day trip on the Mae Hong Son Loop.The bikes where in perfect condition (low milage, not a scratch) and the price was fair.Best of all is the boss. Unfortunatly the “real” Mr. Pop died some time ago, but his daughter took over the business and runs it very professional.Her name, and that is not a joke, is Mr. Bandit. She knows where to go in Chiang Mai and the surroundings and is extremly helpful. She tries to keep the heritage of her father alive and does so very well.
I rented a CRF250 with knobby tires from Ms Sue to ride the back roads of Thailand. I chose the CRF because it is a dual sport bike made for less than perfect roads. While riding (on a road), the rear rack bolts fell out, causing the rack to bounce around and damage the turn signal. Sue kept my deposit money, stating that it was my fault the bolts came out. Be careful renting from Sue. Her bikes may not be ready for the road, causing you to lose your deposit at no fault of your own.
Great service, hired a Vstrom for 14 days. Bike was as new and well serviced. Sue was very helpful and easy to deal with. Will definitely be using them again on our next trip. Highly recommend.
What a great experience this was. Super service and very kind and helpful people. I rented a Suzuki V-Strom 650. It was the perfect bike to go on The Mae Hong Son Loop. They were very flexible when I came back a day early. I just changed the bike to a scooter to take around town. They even had a small hotel where I stayed for two nights. Top service. Top motorbike. Top accommodation. Top holiday ❤️Go to Mr. Pop and you will be very well talen care of.
