The activity was okay, but the quality wasn’t that good. I am not happy about the main picture because I think it should be me because I think I can shoot a lot better than that grandpa.
This is a pretty average gun range. The venue itself is a little basic and instructors breezed through instructions despite being a first timer and were quite detached. He didnt take enough time to show me how to use the gun and i really struggled to understand how exactly i was supposed to use it. A shame.Very little safety instructions especially as the bullets flew all over the place which was a little concerning. Definitely not an interesting experience or worth the 1700 baht per person fee. You just go through your bullets as quickly as possible and then leave.
Okay choice of guns. Staff loads guns for you and hands them over without any explanation regarding functioning or best use.All (!) semi automatic pistols malfunctioned and had to be manually reloaded after every single shot. No word of apology for this bad experience. Would not recommend going there.
Wasn’t after any frills. Always wanted to fire an automatic rifle at targets, and this completely fitted the bill. Short, sweet and to the point. Just turned up and was in and out in about 30 minutes.Chose the Glock 18 sub machine gun on single shot mode. 30 rounds for 2,000 Baht. Didn’t care about the price. Loved it! Would have gladly stayed all day, but had other things to do that day.Didn’t get a great deal of training, but had used air guns in the past, so already knew a bit about guns.Great variety of other weapons, but was very happy with my choice.
Me & my husband visited shooting club in Chang Mai.. It was lovely place specially for people who loves shooting and enjoy it ..
If you have not been to a gun range before, go here. The staff are helpful and courteous and provide you with targets, ear muffs and whatever gun you want to fire. Instruction is given, but their English is not great so pay attention and read the safety instructions. It’s never cheap to fire guns, so you cant really moan about the price. As it is off season i did haggle and got some discount, water and drinks are available from a vending machine and you can take your targets home. A great experience
Researched online and found this shooting club in Chiang Mai. What attracted me was the range of weapons available and the packaged deal. However, website booking was more catered to chinese tourist and required quite a number of information. I emailed them instead and received quite a prompt response. They wanted to provide transport to my hotel for pick-up but I had chosen to travel there myself. Rode a motorbike to their premise and it was not difficult to locate. Just follow the google map will do. Upon reaching, there were sufficient parking space and I was directed to the shop. At the shop, you can choose the package you want and the weapons. The staff will assign you an instructor who will prepare the weapons.I think the instructor thought that I might have some experience, so once he loaded the gun, he just handed the gun to me without much explanation. However, he is probably more than willing to explain further on how to use the weapon. The instructor volunteered to take photos and videos for you while you are shooting it. At the end of it, he also volunteered to take photos for you with each weapon. This is my first time handling those guns and I must say it is still an eye opener and experience. It was nice, but you probably got to watch out for your own safety if coming in groups. Do not play around the weapons. Shot 3 different rifles and the whole process from arriving to leaving took me less than an hour.
A nice shooting club Chiang Mai. After booking via phone, a private car was provided as transport from hotel to shooting club and back free of charge. No minimum spending was required. The shooting club is part of Thai Army area and some Thai soldiers can be seen shooting there. Facilities are adequate and the staffs are very friendly and accommodating although they speak limited English. I paid 1700baht for some basic instructions and 30 shots on the 9mm Glock. There was a pretty good selection of guns and packages. Pricing is as advertised on their website. Overall, I find it a good experience and a good way to release some stress!
A great place for shooting. The staff and instructors are very friendly and, being Thai army soldiers, know their stuff. Even with their limited ability to speak English, they will make you feel safe and show great enthousiasm for your shooting. If you’re knew to guns, they will handle all the reloading and weapon malfunctions for you, and won’t get in your way if you’re an experienced shooter. They will also handle all the targets for you and will happily arrange plastic bottles and beer/soda cans for you to shoot along paper and metal targets.Note: I’ve seen reviews and photos from the past 10 years that imply you could shoot full auto rifles at the range. The laws must have changed since then, as you can’t shoot full auto and will be limited to 12-gauge, .22 Long Rifle and pistol caliber guns. Not a big deal, and contributes to the “beginner-friendly” approach. As for the guns themselves, they have a good range of pistols but not many long guns.
Staff were friendly and instructors were helpful and funny! Made the whole experience great, especially if it’s your first time shooting. Had free hotel transfer too!
