I like😎Quality beer on a tropical island. Focus on Thai craft beer.Good service from stall-type bar. Good knowledge about beer. Friendly place.
If you like craft beer this is the place to visit, there is a great selection so you can’t go wrong. Friendly service and seems popular; we couldn’t get a seat, but were allowed to sit at the bar next door.
A craft bar in Koh Samui!!! Life doesn’t get better! Nick the manager was really friendly and helpful, his interaction with us was great but not intrusive and he was really down to earth and friendly. Beer is a little more expensive here but thats down to the import taxes they have to pay.. that said the vibe and relaxed environment as well as the taste of the beer is amazing. We came last night and there was live music in the little square area and then decided to return in the afternoon when it was more relaxed. The ambience of the place is great… the beers… 40-50 different craft beers/ciders and 8 different tap beers. We tried a few different ones and they were amazing! So happy to find this little gem!!! 😁
My hubby and I are from Australia and we are big lovers of craft beer 🍺What a treat is was to find this beautiful gem Lucky to be Alive in Bophut Fishermans Village Koh Samui! On tap top notch craft beer with many choices. Great ciders and gin options too. We like our strong hoppy IPAs and they certainly delivered nice and cold and with a smile 😊We spent many of our 8 nights in Koh Samui at Lucky to be Alive and made many long lasting friendships there ❤️Ambience was amazing with live music played every night 🎶Big shouts out go to Manager Nic and Treena for making our nights so special we miss you already 🥰Can’t wait to return!!You MUST visit ❤️PS my 5 star food review is for the home cooked Filipino meal Treena cooked for my husband & I. We thank you 🙏🏾
If you’re ready to experience some great craf beers from the region (eg. Thailand, Singapore etc.)…..then you will love this cozy craft beer bar. 10 specials on draft and many more canned craft beers are at your grasp. Nice relaxed atmospere, some live music on the square…..and great beer, life good! If you love beer, you gotta go here, cheers!🍻🇹🇭
Best craft beer in Koh SamuiGreat selection on tap and a fridge full of cans and bottlesThere’s lots of outdoor seating and a bar next door with a big selection of wines by the glass/bottle for the non-beer drinkers
After a week of drinking the same three beers (spoiler: they all taste the same), we decided to head over to fisherman’s village to try Samui’s craft beer tap room. What started as a small group of 6 friends quickly ballooned into a group of 14 and they had just enough room to accommodate us. They have 8 taps that I think change quite regularly (one was changed out while we were there) and they serve everything from a nice light lager to IPA, NEIPA and DEIPA. They also had a hazy passionfruit that tasted more like a sour to me. These are premium, craft beers and you should expect to pay a premium for them. Our group felt the price was totally worth it.Service was great and for those who like to sample, they’ll pour you a taster shot to help you lock down your next glass or pint choice. There are also several gins available, and the shop next door sells frozen wine drinks. Something for darn near everyone.Thinking of heading back soon!
Found this place by chance. Great beers and at least 6 to choose from ranging from 5-8.9%. If like me you drink craft ale and are sick of the lager on holiday this place is ideal. Tucked out the way just off main strip but worth a visit definitely. More expensive than the usual lager but defo worth it. Prices range from 240-370bht for a pint £5-£7.
this is a great place, made even more so because in thailand your choice of beer typically comes down to either singha, leo or heineken. those beers are fine but it’s easy to tire of them. here you can get IPAs, pale ales and other lagers on tap, followed by all manner of left-field beer options in cans from the fridge. it’s basically just a small hole-in-the-wall, but there are seats outside in a courtyard where live music happens every night of the week from 7pm.and if anyone in your group would prefer a wine or some bubbles, the shop next door handles those sales and both shops work together.
