I ordered from Roshan via whatsapp after visiting him in Thailand earlier on in the year. This was the second time I used Roshan and his services and was satisfied completely.This time I ordered an evening suit & shirt. Roshan had my measurements from my visit 6 months earlier (and from what I understand he stores it internally for future use).The material of the suits and shirts were expected, after I had shared with him photos of what I wanted through whatsapp. From that perspective it was really good.The part that probably required improvement was the communication and timing between my requests and delivery of the items. Too often there were mistakes etc, however Roshan was happy to adjust/amend as necessary.He sent me videos and photos (albeit not as quickly as I had hoped – however, given I was in no rush I wasn’t too fussed). I got precisely what I wanted through an online order, and I will use his services again.Lastly, the only dour point, is that I had to pay a service charge to pick it up from UK customs which I wasn’t anticipating. The delivery came within a week, but the extra charge was not something that Roshan warned me about. I don’t blame him for that, however in future deals this should be something to factor in, as it is an extra charge that potentially won’t be factored in.For an online order/purchase, I would give this a solid 8/10. Definitely will return to Roshan again.
Roshan made sure my new suits fit perfectly, and every time I went in I had a bottle of cool water and a nice visit with him and his wife. Really, it’s like having a good friend who’s in the biz. I will have all my clothes made by Roshan in the future.

Highly recommended !!! it’s the best in town! I passed by chance in front of his shop and I was very warmly welcomed by the owner, he made me feel immediately at ease and he recommended me and proposed several solutions for the purchase of some shirts! I tried the shirts in the afternoon and after taking better measure in detail after 3 hours they were all ready! great price, excellent quality, very kind staff and extremely available to all needs!
Beware! Don’t shop here. He’s a crook! Took my money too! Take your money and invest in a western style custom tailored suit at home. Or at least invest your money somewhere else. Cannot stress enough. Joe’s a thief. My advice is there’s not enough time if you’re on vacation or holiday to have a custom suit made in most circumstances. My experience was 5 days in Chiang Mai. Visited shop for a custom tuxedo. Joe asked for 50% down cash. Paid and arranged final fitting. Showed up for final fitting and a few adjustments were requested. Did not want to travel with suit and requested and paid for shipment to USA. All cash. He never delivered . Won’t respond to calls nor messages. That’s my unfortunate experience. Did receive another suit tailored at a Bangkok tailor and it’s okay. Just okay though. Hence invest at home where you have some control. I don’t think Thai tailors probably deliver on what you’re expecting.
Joe did not ship my tuxedos as agreed and will now not answer my calls, texts, messages, etc. I will happily revise this review if I receive my order, but it appears Joe has decided to rip us off rather than send the tuxes as we paid him to do. He seemed like a knowledgeable tailor, turns out he’s a thief. Many options for tailors in Thailand, don’t shop here!!
Keep public awareness, I wrote on Google reviews as well. I’d stay away, very friendly but will take advantage of you. Was planning on going elsewhere and being new to traveling a “local” told me to go here for a “sale”. Fell prey to tuk tuk scam. Got back to states and lapel on one already has stitches coming undone. Save your money and go elsewhere and dont make the mistake I did. Plenty of other places with good reviews or go to any other “tailor” will give you same fabric for a fraction of price
I ordered 2 suits and 8 shirts from Mr Joe at G G Armani in April of 2019 to be shipped back to my home in the USA. It is almost June and he will not respond to Facebook messages or calls. No suits. No shirts.He was very clever with his scam, never issuing a paid receipt (writing prices on his business cards), having me come back for fittings multiple times for the suit which he had his staff hurry back from a distant non-existent factory, and then wishing me away with compliments and a courtesy drink/taxi to my hotel. I believe he also has staff positioned throughout Chiang Mai who speak of his great quality, special sales and outfits they had made for an upcoming wedding. Do not buy from Mr Joe and warn other tourists. This is not a reputable seller and he is there to steal as much baht as you are willing to give him. Please report him to authorities and your embassy.
I went there for a suit. He is a nice, friendly person but stopped replying to my messages or answer my phone call since I flew back to Europe. He seemed very serious during the multiple times I went there for trials but never sent me the suit. I am not the only person having had the same bad experience. Obviously cash only, so no chance to get the money back. Just don’t go there.
