I’m so happy I was able to do my PADI Open Water course here! Joseph Lievre really looked after me and soothed my nerves, he was an excellent instructor! I was able to dive in some amazing spots and see a wide variety of sea life. I would highly recommend!
Great dive team, Julian and Joe are fantastic. Super friendly and felt super safe to dive with. Also no more than 6 divers in the water (unlike some huge dive companies) which made the diving enjoyable.
I had a really exciting and enriching experience learning my Padi open water at Coral Dive. I had a fantastic teacher Joe lievre. who was a fantastic teacher. He Gave clear, easy to follow instructions and was very passionate about diving. I would recommend coral dive and joe to anyone interested diving in Koh tao.
Me and my wife had 4 very nice dives with CV divers. Two last dives was in very windy day, even so we had 2 nice dives in the closest bay, Hin Ngam bay!! Thanks Julien for excellent guiding! Attached pictures are from Hin Ngam bay.
We are staying at the Sai Daeng hotel near CV divers. We wanted to have a try dive with CV divers. They wanted us to fill a healtform in the Padi app. We tried to scan the QR code the manager showed us, but when QR code opened the app to open the healthfrom, we got an error. We tried it on 4 phones in total, all the phones showed the same error. We wanted to search for a solution but the manager wasn’t helpfull at all, he basically said: ‘your problem’. My dad has crohn’s disease and went all the way to the village to get checked out by a doctor so he could dive, all to get rejected because of an app that didn’t work. The funny part is, he signed the same form earlier on paper but that wasn’t good enough for the manager of CV divers (they gave us the paper version). Conclusion: we weren’t able to dive just because of an error.
We stayed in coral view resort for a week in August 2023 as it has a dive centre onsite . We are a family of 5 with 3 kids ranging from 11-15 years . We had pre -booked and paid a deposit with Neil to do the open water Padi a few months before we arrived. All the online training theory materials via Padi are emailed before hand. Neil was very quick at responding with any queries we had.Julien was our private instructor for the five days of the course. To say we trusted him 100% with my life and my families life is an under-statement . I had a previous bad experience with one of the bigger companies in Tao when I was younger so I was nervous trying it again. We had our 1st day in swimming pool to ease us in which helped the nerves . Julien is so understanding and caring .He has the patience of a saint. He makes you feel so safe and comfortable . 3 crazy kids can be difficult to manage above water never mind under water with a nervous Mam but Julien was so professional ,calm and attentive at all times and Safety is always at the core. C.V was the high light of our month long trip in Thailand.We seen amazing fish and coral and and all the dives, boats, equipment are so well organised.. If your thinking of diving in Thailand – Go for it with C.V Divers.
My wife and I just returned from a week on Koh Tao at Coral View Resort. We did a total of 12 dives each over 6 days with CV Divers. Our dive instructor for all 12 dives was nicknamed Junior Bubbles, and he did an excellent job of guiding us at a number of beautiful dive sites including Lighthouse Bay, Shark Island and Tanote Bay.We saw plenty of marine life including green sea turtles, blue spotted sting rays, small moray eels and a wide variety of reef fish!At Tanote Bay we swam underneath a huge school of scads that blocked out the surface above! There were also a variety of colorful coral, fans and cones.Junior Bubbles helped us improve our diving skills as well including buoyancy and swim-throughs (small caves).I would highly recommend both staying at Coral View Resort and diving with CV Divers!
We stayed at coral view for a week and loved the tranquility, if you want a quiet place to be on koh Tao this is perfect. Lovely staff, food and a perfect beach. I was visiting with my two daughters 14 and 18 so that they could learn to dive, I need a refresher. Neil who runs the dive center there was so helpful. Bubbles, who taught us was amazing, patient, thorough and I felt very safe diving with my children as his teaching was so good! Would highly recommend. We dived as a group of three which is unusual to be in such a small group, just perfect.
The moment I stepped into the dive office I was warmly greeted by Mr. Bubbles. He was an amazing instructor and I felt very safe and comfortable with his instructions. Why? He was very knowledgeable, practical and was very passionate about his teaching (instruction).From day one till the last day, I had a wonderful time with Mr. Bubbles and I highly recommend him. I am looking forward to taking the next level course with him.
Dive guide was so incredibly rude and condescending and aggressive that it was the worst dive trip, worst tourist activity I have ever done in my life. I have had worst days at work that were more pleasant than this dive trip. Didn’t even go on the second dive as I didn’t want to put up with any more of the guides rude arrogant and aggressive attitude. Couldn’t wait to get off the boat. Would avoid this company at all costs. It’s supposed to be a fun dive and I have never had worse experience on holiday in my life due to the guides horrible attitude
