I spent 5 months with New Heaven Dive School where I did my PADI Divemaster Internship, and additionally, their 4 week Reef Conservation Programme (NHRCP) and the time I spent there was one of the best experiences of my life!! What sets this dive school apart from all of the other dive schools on the island is instead of being a massive, money driven, dive school which are used to dealing with massive groups of students, New Heaven a small, family run business which make it a very tight knit community and I instantly felt like I was part of their family. All the staff were professional, friendly, welcoming and approachable and made the learning experience so much fun. The Reef Conservation Programme was arguably the highlight of my experience. Both Kirsty and Dev do such an incredible job teaching the conservation course. It was really well taught, educational & informative but most importantly it was so enjoyable and so much fun. I can’t recommend this dive school highly enough!!
It’s a fantastic place with amazing people. All the ocean lovers have to spend a period there, discovering with them the underwater life taking in mind how important is to respect nature and working with them to protect it.
I did my free dive level 1 course here with the very experienced Instructor Dev. I can’t say anything but it was an amazing experience. There’re so many dive school on Koh Tao, but I was really happy that I came across New Heaven dive school. Located next to the incredible restaurant “Koppee” – a treat for the soul.I learned so many new skills. Free diving is all about proper breathing, mindset and body positioning. Dev can explain everything very clearly, what makes it easier to make progress. Dev is an yoga-Instructeur as well. So before and after the dives we had lots of fun in his Yoga studio. Cant wait to start my level 2 !! Thanks Dev and amazing team of New Heaven Dive School!!!

I did my advanced adventurer diver, my rescue diver and conservation courses with new heaven dive school. That was a wonderful experience that changed my life. People are amazingly nice and kind, you’re not just a customer here, it’s seems like home. Everyone is also very professional, the place itself is fantastic too. If you go here you’ll learn so many things, not only about diving. I would recommend this school to anyone!
I did my open water certification course with Khan and New Heaven Dive School. I had no previous experience with scuba diving and Khan was so good at being, both an relaxed, encouraging and a patient instructor, which makes it easier to make progress. You can see he takes his job very serious (in a chill way) and he is a really cool fun guy as well.I travelled to Koh Tao solo to do a scuba diving course and I really enjoyed my diving days at New Heaven Dive and I highly recommend this family owned school to anyone. It was also just me in the the course, making it very personal.I will try to come back to New Heaven and Koh Tao at some point. Thanks Khan and the team of New Heaven Dive School! I dove with New Heaven in 2010; had a great experience then and when I returned to Koh Tao in Oct, 2022, decided to dive with them again. The dive itself was ok; however, I had issues on the payment side. Prior to the dive, they asked me to send a wire for 1000 Baht as a deposit to reserve my spot, which I did. When I arrived, they claimed they had not received the deposit. I showed them a copy of my bank confirmation, showing that the transfer had been completed; however, they kept saying that it wasn’t showing up on their end. In an act of good faith, I paid them in full for the dives (2400 Baht) and they assured me that they would refund me the 1000 Baht deposit as soon as they received it. I followed up with them a few times and they continued to say that they didn’t have it. I called my bank and they–again–confirmed that the transfer had been completed to Khan. As of now, they have refused to refund me for the double-payment. Poor business practices.
If you look for a relaxing atmosphere to get certified by professional diveinstructors or like to fundive with passionate dive masters, please go to this dive shop in Chalok Bay.They have rooms too and offer other activities like yoga.I have spent 11 days during my holidays on Koh Tao and had a great time fundiving.
A huge thankyou to New Heaven Dive school for an unforgettable experience. Myself and my husband have just completed our Open Water Dive course with the fantastic Pod, him and all the staff at New Heaven were incredible. Everyone that we had the pleasure of meeting during our stay and during our course just made our trip perfect. Everyone was so friendly and warm and really made us feel so welcome. We stayed in a Hillside room, which was clean, comfortable with good AC and fan and a really soft mattress for us to collapse into after a busy day diving. We hope to return to New Heaven Dive Resort in the future. Thankyou
New Heaven Dive School has been so welcoming to our family, my son 11 and daughter 8 went on their first dives. Our instructor Bubble has been very patient, reassuring and fun. The Boat Boys let my son bring the tail boat back to Chalok Bay. Everyone enjoyed themselves in a peaceful and safe manner. Diving was passed on to the kids.pawai was great and very accommodating on the admin side and we were given the same T shirt as a memory ?❤️merci
