  1. A perfect mix of adventure, culture and fun. We had an amazing time seeing the countryside of Chiangmai, without masses of tourists. I was very catered to our group with our very sincere and entertaining guide. We enjoyed hearing about his history and village. Most important for me for the ethical approach behind Abuja. This is so important to us because we want to support real sanctuaries that help elephants and not tourist traps. Abuja makes the effort to go the extra mile in this area.

  2. Abuja! If you are looking for a jungle tour, choose Abuja trekking with San! We did the the tour with two kids, age 9 and 11 years old. He will show you everything what you want to know about the jungle. Visit the sticky waterfall, hike in the jungle where we saw snakes and tarantulas. Prepare a really nice Thai meal, play games at the campfire and even met his parents. We slept at his really nice house and woke up with a stunning view. Again a hike through the jungle and went bamboo rafting where you can enjoy the stunning scenery. Afterwards a swim at the waterfall to cool down. Even for kids it will be an amazing experience! Thank you San and Mr Ohlala 🙂

  3. My friend and I had a fantastic time on this trek with Sans and Olala. They are extremely kind people that made our experience thoroughly enjoyable. The trek wasn’t too long but when the path got slippy, the two gentlemen helped us along. We stayed in Sans family home where we were spoiled with the amount of food in the evening and in the morning. It was delicious. We played cards around a campfire in the evening it was a very authentic experience. 10/10

  4. An incredible experience from start to finish. Our guides Sans and Olala were full of knowledge about the jungle where their small community calls home. We were welcomed by them and their family info their amazing self built bamboo homes. All our meals were traditional home cooked Thai food that tasted delicious. WiFi was not missed as we played cards and chatted around the open fire in the evening. The jungle treks, bamboo rafting and visit to the elephant sanctuary were amazing and memories we will have for a lifetime. I could not recommend this more to anyone who wishes to experience the authenticity of life in the Thai Jungle.

  5. Without a doubt, the experience of meeting San and exploring the jungle with him has become the most important life experience of the trip and of all the trips I have made to date. When I think of this experience I think of trekking through the jungle, rafting down the river, visiting the tribe, learning about the people and customs of such a fascinating and different culture. All of these moments of fun and the experiences acquired in those two days have been thanks to the closeness and professionalism of San, who unwittingly became, apart from our guide in the activity, our spiritual guide!Objectively this is an experience that cannot be missed on a trip to Thailand and I can’t wait to go on another experience with San and his jungle trekking.Abuja my friend!

  6. Best thing you will ever do, Som and Ola were hilarious and made the trip for us , best authentic village trekking trip you will ever do, will be back anyday

  7. We had an epic time with San! It was awesome to go with someone who grew up in that jungle! Can’t recommend the jungle hike enough!

  8. A really great experience! Best tour guide we’ve had so far. Very good communication in English. Learned a lot about the jungle life. He took a companion with us and together they were a great team. Great attention was paid to safety and fun.

  9. Awesome. I have nothing but good words for this incredible adventure. San, the guide and one of the best people we have met, adapted the tour so that we could do several things in the little time we had.Jungle trekking, bamboo rafting, the hospitality of San and his family, the food, everything was ABUJA (awesome). It is an opportunity to get to know the Karen tribe from the inside, their customs, get away from all the massive tourism to be part of this small town, which is literally in the middle of the jungle.I had the opportunity to do yoga at his house with stunning views.thanks for everything San, ABUJA!!!

  10. Amazing! We have spent two days in San’s home and it has been so incredible. We have experienced the real jungle thai lifestyle and their culture. The trekking was so good too, I would have spent more days if I had had the time.See you in a near future friend!
