  1. Great tour guide. We had a fun day. Maya bay wasn’t busy at the sunrise and the lunch was great at the Bamboo island. It was the best snorkeling of my life at Bamboo Island as we saw heaps of fishes from Nemo, sharks, sea horse to sea snake.

  2. Simply amazing experience!Tour guide and the staff were prompt at meeting us and offered coffee and breakfast snacks before setting off on the boat. Our tour guide ‘Batman’ was very knowledgeable, funny, friendly and looked after us at every stop. Maya bay was everything i imagined and the snorkelling stop around the lagoon with the black tips sharks was amazing. Lots of species of fish to see. Every member of Nemo to bee seen. The tour started at 6am and finished around 1.30 and was just enough time. The lunch could have been a lot better, very bland, but was edible. Theres a restaurant on bamboo island to get alternatives if you want. All round a great trip! Thank you to all the staff for making our trip special! X

  3. We had such a great experience on the full day early tour from 6.30am -2.30pm. The team were super knowledgeable, fun and the captain was a great/safe driver. The stops were beautiful, snorkeling was excellent getting to see lots of fish, and a couple of sharks and big eels! We caught a beautiful sunrise on the boat to Maya Bay and while waiting at the pontoon to get onto Maya Bay for a few minutes before the park opened! Lunch on bamboo island was perfect, and we got to do more snorkeling there which was also great!

  4. Batman and crew were so awesome and so accommodating. All the different island stops, snorkeling, sunrise; the whole experience was fantastic!

  5. Our group included four deaf people. When we boarded the boat, our guide asked us if we could swim, if any of us got seasick, and gave us information we needed, like where we could find water, NP rules, that sort of thing. One of the deaf group made it clear that they couldn’t hear, and that they would need these instructions writing down (apparently they said this to the company the previous day, when they booked the tour). The guide indicated that he would, and then our boat left for Phi Phi Leh. 20 minutes later, when we arrived, I assumed the instructions had been written down, but no. The guide gave us further instructions verbally, told us what time we had to be back (again, verbally), and then let us go. The man who asked for written instructions again mimed writing down, the guide just shrugged and walked off. At this point he hadn’t asked if they could swim, or let them know where to find water, or the various things they couldn’t do in Maya bay (without hefty fines). The man reached out to the guide’s arm, to get his attention (he appeared to be unable to speak out loud, so saying “excuse me” wasn’t an option), and the guide started shouting, really loudly and angrily about how it’s not OK to touch people like that. The shouting episode went on for about 5 minutes, while everyone else on the boat stood there open-mouthed, appalled at this awful display of ableism. A few of us tried speaking to our guide at this point, and tried to explain that the deaf group knew nothing about the safety instructions he had given the rest of us, and they didn’t know what time they had to be back on the boat, or that they could only go into the water up to their ankles at Maya bay, none of it, and this wasn’t safe for them. I tried explaining to him that they would need the information in advance, just like the rest of us, in fact more so, as if they did something wrong or dangerous, he wouldn’t be able to shout “No, don’t do that” from a distance, like he could with us. The problem was that the guide wouldn’t listen to a word I said. He kept talking over me, telling me not to tell him how to do his job, that he knows his job and I don’t. It’s his job to keep us safe, and if anything goes wrong he has to be brave and save us, so I should stop talking. This speech got repeated several times, as a reason I wasn’t allowed to speak up and stand up for members of the group who were being discriminated against. He brought another guide in, who also repeatedly told me that no, I wasn’t allowed to speak.Anyway, the rest of the group ended up helping out for the rest of the trip by writing down the instructions that the guide *STILL* refused to give to the deaf group in a manner that they could understand. The guide then tried to get me removed from the tour, for arguing with him. The rest of the group made it clear that this would not be happening, and that I had done nothing wrong, so would be staying on the tour, so after 10 minutes of trying to get me to get off the boat, and onto another boat back to Tonsai Bay, he gave up. He then told me repeatedly throughout the day that he didn’t like me, and didn’t want to be my guide anymore, and generally behaved like a primary-aged child.Don’t do any tours with this organisation, they are ableist, and refuse to accommodate disabilities that require a bit of extra effort to keep everyone in the group safe. It completely tainted what would have been a lovely trip to a beautiful spot. Choose a tour group that cares about all of their clients’ safety, regardless of whether they have inconvenient disabilities or not.

  6. Honestly one of the best tour in Thailand. The boat leaves from Phi Phi instead of Phuket or Krabi so you will have to be staying at the island. Because you will be leaving from Phi Phi, you will arrive at all the point of interest before anyone else and you will avoid overcrowded situations. Staff and crew were super nice and helpful, they provided tips when snorkling and swimming around.

  7. Great restaurant just 1 min walk from the pier. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Food was great with a big selection, especially the beef in oyster sauce hmmmmm tasty. They also do some great ice cream and are very reasonably priced.

  8. This was a good trip. But I don’t think it can be called “sunrise” or “beat the crowds”. You watch the sunrise while waiting for the boat at the dock, and all the locations you visit are very much crowded. Each boat has around 40 people and there are 6 or so boats from this agency alone, not to mention other agencies doing sunrise tours. It wasn’t a deal breaker for us, this is a huge tourist destination after all and we visited all the popular sights, so crowds were inevitable. I just think people shouldn’t go into this thinking they’ll get a reduction in crowds. It felt like any other large tour group.I’ll also add that monkey beach made me a bit sad. Monkeys being surrounded by 50+ people, other guides (not our tour) feeding them and stressing them out more. These aren’t circus animals, they’re wild. As a whole maybe large groups should stop visiting this place altogether. The tour guide was great, the sights were beautiful, and the snorkeling was amazing. I’d reccomend this to others but with the caveat that this is absolutely not a beat the crowds or a sunrise tour.

  9. The most disappointing part of the experience was snorkeling- which is the reason for my rating. The experience was ruined due to the guide- Sonia or Sodia, something. She refused to give us the snorkeling tubes because she called us “beginners”. So we basically had the mask but had to come up each time to breathe, completely ruining the experience of watching the fish during snorkeling and also preventing us from recording anything on our GoPro. The guide went on and on about an Indian traveler dying during the experience. According to me this experience biased her towards any Indians. We told her plenty of times that we have snorkeled many times in different places all over the world and were well experienced, but she wasn’t ready to listen. Along with us there was one other Indian couple who also got the same treatment- did not get the snorkeling tube despite the fact that they said they were good swimmers. All the other travelers (who weren’t Indians) were given the tubes without the guide even checking if they were “beginners”. It looked like the only criteria to call us inexperienced was because we were Indians. All of us found the experience very disappointing, especially since for me, snorkeling was the highlight of the tour. Hence, if you are Indian and looking forward to snorkeling, stay clear of this tour- you will experience discrimination and it will ruin your trip for you. Not only the guide, but the other staff also seemed to be biased in the same way. The places we visited- Maya Bay, Monkey beach, Bamboo beach were beautiful in itself so the guide couldn’t do anything to ruin that experience- thankfully. But the snorkeling experience really left a sour taste. I would strongly recommend the company to strictly look at their policies to elevate the experience for the customers.

  10. Good price for value, however I’ve seen better coral reefs in Australia and Fiji. All in all though I was happy with tourGet to snorkel/swim travel around on a boat in one of the better islands in Thailand

  11. First, you wont see the sunrise anywhere but in Phi Phi pier. The tour wont leave till 6.30 so check when the sun rises on your date and try to enjoy by not queuing for your boat. You will miss your hotel breakfast but it’s probably a good thing to seasick people. (Take a pill) Leaving from Phi Phi will be an advantage, you will only share Maya beach with 500 people not 5000. Snorkelling 1. Allowed us exploring a very tiny area, many of us ..and we met with sharp rocks, minor injuries. Monkey island you will see small Monkeys (obviously)Don’t feed them, but save fruit and food offered on the boat and throw to the monkeys upon leaving.(not feeding)Bamboo island is a white sand beach, you can experience waves. You might like it because Phi Phi bay is serene, waveless poolSnorkelling 2 is dead safe, no rocks, but you will only see a few fish varieties and the sea bed is boring. 😴 We had a good time nevertheless. We just expected a very different day.
