I received an Open Water Certificate at Dive Tribe Phi Phi this January. Steph Mockett, my wonderful instructor, was very positive, professional, and consistent in her approach, clarifying/repeating the assignments and answering all my questions. I felt very confident having first ever dives with her including challenging tasks and could not recommend this petite (nevertheless very strong!) young lady for anyone wishing to learn diving. We had a day trip with scuba diving, and it was the best experience! Our instructor Elise made us feel very safe and protected. We saw some beautiful reefs just outside of phi phi, with both turtles and sharks! We would definitely recommend doing this on your trip to phi phi!!
We had an amazing experience with this company. We went on a half-day diving trip with our instructor, Tobi, who took us to two different dive locations. The entire crew was very kind, and Tobi, in particular, was an exceptional instructor. We had a great time and saw so much underwater. I highly recommend this dive shop!
My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience scuba diving with Dive Tribe! My boyfriend had a refresher session and it was my first time scuba diving – I was nervous and a bit panicky at the start but our instructor, Steph, made me feel so comfortable! Steph was so professional, friendly and fun – she constantly made sure that we were okay under the water and used hand signals to tell us what to do and pointed out different sea life! We were lucky and saw sharks and an octopus! 100% recommend!
We did several days diving with this shop and they were incredible. They are all very friendly, well organized and very safety conscious. Many languages were spoken and so they seem to be able to accommodate everyone. Our instructor/guide, Blake was brilliant. He attended to all of our needs and seemed able to guess what we wanted before we told him. He was very safe and did his briefings in both French and English. He was super friendly and supportive. One of our group had difficulty clearing her ears and he made sure that she knew it wasn’t a big deal that we descended slowly. The diving is phenomenal here. Saw my first leopard shark. Great experience with a great company. There are many dive companies on Phi Phi and this seems like one of the best.
We did our PADI dive course here, we enjoyed everything about it especially our instructor Zac . He taught us skills we will have for life. We felt very safe and supported throughout our dry land exercises and while diving. Zac allowed us the freedom to explore independently but was always close by. At 18 meters deep you need an instructor like Zac. Thanks again Zac and the Dive Tribe team best place on Phi Phi to dive and do your PADI!Cheers Charlie and Harriet.

I highly recommend this dive center. During 2 days they took us to 4 beautiful dive spots, where we had the chance to see turtles, moray eels, lionfish, Nemo and plenty of colorful fish and corals. It was our first diving in Thailand and we’re fascinated by Thai underwater nature. We are very grateful to our divemaster Thalita for her professionalism, knowledge and care.
