Fantastic experience. Climbed the sticky waterfall in the morning and then met the elephants in the afternoon. Our guide for the day was great and we had a brilliant time. Would definitely recommend.

I was looking for an Elephant santuary close to Chiang Mai. I really wanted to see them close, but I never wanted to damage them or make them scared , I wanted to watch them living freely and relaxed.Then I found this place, which matches all my needs!I chose a Full-day course which included the sticky water fall trekking and lunch.I definitely reccomend the Full -day trip because the time passes so quickly!Our guide Mr.Wee was so friendly, knowing everything we want to know and answered very politely.He was fluent in English and spoke other languages too.Although I was on my solo trip, I never felt alone because Mr.Wee and all the staffs here welcomed us and cared about all the members in the group.And the elephants!! So adoreable!!There were so relaxed and seem to be happy, having fun and even enjoying playing with us. I think this is all because they are very well cared.One baby elephant tried to play with me and I felt like I’m in a dream..I still feel so happy and peaceful whenever I think of the beautiful elephants and all the friendly people.Thank you so much for offering us this wonderful experience. This place is great. Elephants are not tied up and they looked content and happy. Baby elephants were so playful.We had such a great time feeding them, taking pictures with them, bathing them.The facility isn’t fancy and lunch is simple, however that’s because their focus is more on elephants wellbeing.I’d love to come back again soon.Great work Bamboo Elephant Family Care!

Great visit, we were originally booked in for elephant nature park and were a little concerned about the welfare of the elephants at alternative sanctuaries but we need not have worried . The elephants are very well treated and we had a great time
Well kept park with healthy greedy happy looking elephants. Youngest is 1 years old. Paul our guide was very friendly and entertaining. 5 stars to him. Seems a proper ethical elephant sanctuary. The Karen tribe caregivers really love the elephants and vice versa. This was very good. Thank you.
it’s a tourist trap it’s not a real ethical sanctuary because in real sanctuaries tens of hundreds of tourists aren’t allowed to bathe every day, the animals thus live under stress… and then I saw that they are trained with very cruel people, shame on you! animals must be free in nature, leave them alone
We are a family of 4 from France with 2 teenagers of 17 and 19. It was our best day since we arrived in Thailand 10 days ago. The organization is good, everything went smoothly. We were a group of roughly 20 persons with lots of space to move around. We spent 2 wonderful hours feeding elephants with sugar cane and herbal balls we made ourselves, bathing with them (you can just watch if you don’t want to) and “playing” with several baby elephants. It was magical to watch interactions between the babies, their mothers and their keepers who are so dedicated to their wellcare. I recommend 100%!
An easy and affordable way for touring gringos to engage with elephants. The animals are so gentle and powerful. The handlers take care of them with skillful communication and ease. The Elephants seem very happy and they are so super cute! You can get right up to them and feel the warmth and gentleness of their presence. Highly recommended for a half-day trip.
We spent the afternoon with the Elephants. I highly recommend this sanctuary. Excellent lunch is included. You have great interactions with the elephants, which includes a couple of very cute babies! We fed, bathed and played with them! Great place for the whole family!
