Jing Jai (sincere) market is only open during the weekend. There are lots of food and handy craft on sale.I find the food costs a little more here, but that is expected. Support the local small sellers. I really like the almond croissant, really yummy. The edible flower is more like a form of art, one would need to be patient as it takes time to prepare.A nice place to spend a weekend morning.
Relatively big day market filled with nice, interesting and unique crafts from the local. Enjoyed eating there too albeit the food section was a little small. A nice thing to do for the day! Would recommend to come on the weekday to explore and appreciate the handmade crafts.Love that the place is also encouraging environmentally friendly practices. 👍🏼
Lovely farmers and artisan market. Weekends only. High-quality products and at good value. Most markets in Chiang Mai can get very crowded whilst JJ offers ample hassle free shopping. Very good food stalls.
Plenty of organic farmer products from surrounding mountain area at very affordable price. Handmade crafts, clothes, and micro-independent bakeries and coffee roasters enriched the market to another level, despite some stuff are not cheap for Chiang Mai’s cost of living.
A different experience in a Thailand market setting… worth a visit to see the modern and local talents of Thailand…
Visited this unique market on a Sunday morning. A pleasant place for tourist to shop for local fruits, food, art and craft and branded local clothings. Spacious and comfortable place to spend a couple of hours.Highly recommended
A must visit market on Saturdays and Sundays – lots of craft and food stalls available at very reasonable prices, set in a very pleasant area.
Jing Jai Market in Chiang Mai is a vibrant spot where farmers sell handmade goods, and many shopkeepers host live shows to sell online. It’s a great place to stroll around and relax, with a unique and lively atmosphere. However, visiting in June can be quite hot, so it’s better to plan your trip during a cooler season for a more comfortable experience.
Must go place if you are in Chiang Mai on a Saturday or Sunday. Lots of food stalls and small artisans with an abundance of choice.
One of our best trips and cost nothing! Short ride away in a taxi, immaculately clean and crammed full of stalls selling locally produced crafts and clothing and an amazing array of food to eat there or take away with you. We went on Sunday but appears to be open 7 days.
