In 20 days of vacation I went from total beginner to swimming autonomously amongst whale sharks, corals, and beautiful fishes of all sorts.The team over there is incredibly skilled and friendly, after a couple of weeks learning and diving with them, it felt like like a little family we were so happy to meet in the morning before getting on the boat.Thanks a lot to Jerem and all the team for sharing and transmitting their passion, and making it fun and social.Diving is becoming an addiction on my side thanks to these guys.That was a real blast !!!

Joined the France Plongée team for a trip to Sail Rock and do my Nitrox certification. Everything was well organized and they have new equipment! They even let me use my own Suunto wireless pod on their first stage. Special thanks to Jean-Bastien for educating me on oxygen en nitrogen levels 🙂 Recommended!

Amazing PADI Open Water with Fred.Fred was not only an excellent teacher but he was also a very safe, listening and funny person.I strongly recommend this diving center.They are serious, flexible according to the client level and pace of learning.Material is very good recent.Excellent experience and they can make it in French or English.
First of: I have been to some great places for diving, such as Maldives, Mexico, Belize, Egypt.Having said that, I have never come across so many schools of fishes up close, as I have on Sail Rock together with Alain as my dive guide!I was very lucky to be the only diver on that day (Dec25th), so Alain and I got to enjoy two very very relaxed Nitrox dives between 8-26m (AOWD).We also got lucky with good visibility of around 20m above 12-15m, whereas below 15m you could see the thermocline and below that visibility dropped to 2m!Apparently visibility is always a big gamble in the gulf of Thailand, due to its shallow overall depth of ~50m – so bad weather/currents etc always directly impact visibility!We saw loads of Barracudas really close and a host of other fish life in big schools (-> at times you could hardly see the water, so many fish were there).Alain was a great guide and a very relaxed, secure diver, looking out for me before and during the dive. After a few minutes into the first dive, it was clear that we got along very well and started to have a lot of fun just going wherever we wanted. Sometimes you just follow the dive guide blindly, but Alain was happy to go wherever I asked or pointed without hesitation – going through a tunnel a couple of times, hanging out in the current, watching the barracudas for minutes etc :)I can highly recommend France Plongee and Alain!!! Thanks for the two awesome dives and the good company under water 🙂
We had few families diving with france plongee . They were great and proffetional . They took everything we needed. They handeled great with the kids 11-12 years old. Most recommended .and besides we were so lucky to dive with whale shark so it was fabulous and astonish together with the wonderfull crew.
Superb from start to finish. Laurent and June were fantastic. They explained clearly what options were available and were very friendly and relaxed and safe. The dive trip was superb. We dived with June, two 45min dives both at about 20m, but you can go where the visibility and your experience allows. Lots of fish, eels, fish, rocks, fish – just really cool. Visibility maybe 7/10 on our day but still lots to see. The boat works well, an hour each way but very chilled and good food/drink. Best diving in this area, and France Plongée are the bets team to go with if you like small groups (or even private) and friendly people. Merci Laurent et June.
I had a really great time with France Plongée when doing my “Padi open-water”. The instructors are very professional while still using humour, creating a very fun environment. They are very clear and demonstrative and have great skills in diving. Furthermore, the equipment was of great quality and the diving location (at sail rock) is surely one of the most beautiful in Thailand. I surely recommend this company.Thank you again Laurent and Tymothée for the two stunning days with France Plongée!
We were 5 (2 adults, 3 teenagers), one beginner and for the rest of us, it was our first time. We had such great time. Everything was top notch quality. The dive was unbelievable. Sail Rock is definitely the best spot around Koh Samui (as the team told us). The entire team was really professional, attentive, patient, engaged and friendly. We were 2 adults with one instructor and the teenagers were with another instructor. The speed boat was perfect (small and fast). It almost felt like a private boat. The equipment was modern and in really good shape. There was a one hour lunch between the 2 dives and the food was delicious. The list of compliments goes on…..For the ones who like the French touch and/or want to feel reassured about Padi, SSI and French certification, you will be in great hands. :)Thank you so much France Plongee Team! You made our first diving day memorable.
