We have been a few times to both ride & eat ostrich. The food is good & ostrich rides are fun. The horses are tame and great for little ones. For more video go to. YouTube Judah’s ostrich adventure.
It’s an experience for sure. Be prepared for mangy animals and sadly skinny horses. The food at the restaurant is fair, though.
It is an amusement more for children than serious travellers. The farm offers a ride on the ostrich which one may find a rare experience. Emu, sheep, duck and other animals on the campus may entertain visitors who enjoy it. The farm gives lots of information on its own history and the animals in it. The sales room for ostrich skin products could be used just as a museum. The restaurant offers rare food for the non-veggies.
There are rabbits, small horses, sheep, ducks and many beautiful ostriches. But I feel sorry for them !!!!! Just feel sad to see it.
Typical animal park the animals don’t look like there in great shape obviously the money generated isn’t for the care of the animals and there enclosuresHowever if your under 80 kg and want to give ostrich riding a try or feed them a good place to come
Nice farm outside of Chiang Rai with horseback and ostrich riding for all ages. We have been here many times and went back this time to secure another ostrich egg, a leather cowboy hat, and a sheepskin rug and we were not disappointed. Good environment change for a few hours 🙂
Staff didn’t really care about those animals…a goat leaped across the fence but he couldn’t move freely outside the fence due to a short leash from inside. He was struggling to move so I asked one of employees to take care of it. She didn’t care until I got others involved and urged her to put the goat back…What a horrible condition for the poor farm animals.
My boyfriend and I decided to check it out since we thought it would be awesome to ride ostriches. So…we were not very impressive with this place. It’s old, dirty, and some animals looked unhealthy and miserable like ostriches and rabbits. We saw some missing feathers. Also there some sick, thin rabbits and others were in a small, dirty cage with their babies. It looked like it hadn’t cleaned up for years, full of droppings and webs. We were wondering if staff left them starving on purpose, so they would attract guests for food. It doesn’t deserve a star at all.
Went here not knowing what to expect. I now feel obligated to warn everybody about this place. The ostriches are used as machines. They look really unhealthy with their feathers falling out and balding patches on their body. The horses are a similar story. I’ve never seen horses this skinny, some with wounds on their body and tied to a pole with no access to water.Don’t buy anything, the money clearly doesn’t go to the animals. Even better, don’t go here at all.
No website told us that it’s permanent closed. We were nearby, so we didn’t loose a lot of time going here.. but for the future; don’t go, because there isn’t anything left. It’s permanent closed.
