  1. On the map for all bikers visiting Bang Krachao, but oh so disappointing. The place was obviously very impressive a decade or two back, but is now run-down and sad. There are a few lonely fish in jars and dirty aquariums, a restaurant with no food, a quiet coffee shop, broken-down playground for kids, a large pool (containing what, I don’t know), etc. OK to stop here on bike tour of Bang Krachao, but don’t go out of your way to see the place. Big investment from years back, now allowed to disintegrate,

  2. Found this place by chance and was just a fantastic experience for us and our 9 year old son. Spent a good 2 hours learning and seeing the fighting fish.Just a shame that the place seems to getting tired and so sign of renovations or being taken care off…don’t understand the reason Needs to be marketed as a wonderful place to go explore and relax

  3. After riding around for. Few hours this was a nice change of pace. Beautiful fish and a peaceful place to have a coffee.

  4. Great place to stop as you cycle around town. This is a free gallery where you can see a variety of colorful beta tetras. It’s also nice place to grab a cool drink and snap some photos.

  5. Just terrible to see fish in a mini glass! I ask you if you are a fish? In the ocean or for the drinking glass?Rest in Peace

  6. Perhaps I missed something here? I happened to bump into this place whilst cycling through Bang Kachao. There are a few interesting historical references and a small photogenic lake. Also some snack sellers. And of course some fighting fish (like I had when I was 10). But what really is this place?

  7. Nice that someone is preserving this Thai tradition albeit perhaps a brutish one. Please return the big fish in the photo back to the river or pond if possible. Feels a bit cramped and uncomfortable in its tank.

  8. Some fish in small glass jars, few explanations, not very interesting unless passionate about fighting fish. Large garden that could use more shade.

  9. Jars of fighting fish, probably for sale. Not that interesting, although large garden the business owns is worth a stop when cycling. Ok for a rest when cycling, not worth going out of your way for special visit.

  10. Boring place to see fish kept in jars. Will be interesting if you are into fishes. The whole place looks tired. It needs an uplifting or renovation.
