We arrived at Doi Saket Farm after very long way across the world. Had arrange appoitment 2 weeks earlier. When we came to Chiang Mai and called to number from received email they did not know about us. Finally, we got to Doi Saket by taxi for 400 Baht and were very unhappy because we only met there very silly young girl and she knew nothing about orchids, looks like she were at the farm for a first time as well. She talked with somebody on the phone and not care about selling anything. Prices are excessive. Went to Plant Market in Chiang Mai and bought orchids for half price.
We visited the Orchid Farm as part of a larger tour. This was only a 20-30 minute stop on this tour to stretch our legs, and for that purpose it was incredible. There were rows upon rows of stunning orchids in a myriad of colors and sizes. It was great for a quick stroll and to grab a coffee. There was also a butterfly garden with an incredible array of them flying around. I’m not sure I would go out of my way to see this place, since it was quite small and out of the way. But if you can include it in a tour, it is a sight to see.
Rows and rows of orchids in every variety and color were in full bloom. Excellent place to take pictures, perfect environment for their care.

We had a great lunch and nice tour of the Orchid Farm. The facilities are very clean and staff is professional.
Very nice place to visit, pretty flowers and butterfly garden. If you read the reviews you know it’s small so that shouldn’t come as a surprise anymore. Good food and friendly people. There’s a lot to see in that area and I would definitely include this in your trip.
The variety of beautiful orchids was amazing, a plant lovers heaven. The butterfly area though was a little disappointing, maybe the wrong time of the year but still worth the visit. We also had lunch here, excellent buffet, certainly couldn’t leave hungry.
