Sbun-nga Museum may be a small museum in size. However it is a treasure trove of historical costumes and textiles spanning hundreds of years. The contents have been lovingly collected over a 30+ year period by the owner of this private museum. Costumes are from different periods and areas of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos. Akadet Nakkabunlung is a passionate collector and his joy is evident as he takes you on a personal tour of his beloved museum. Tours are by appointment and must be made in advance by calling 081-883-6713. The tour lasts about an hour. It is well worth seeking out. A modest fee of 200 THB/person opens a remarkable experience. The museum is located opposite the restaurant Ekathip Choke Dee on Thorakamanakom Rd. behind Maya Shopping Center.
