  1. Standing right next to Chiang Mai main bus station. Don’t waste you time waiting for the bus at the bus station. Clean, air-conditioned washroom. A lot of restaurant and bar. or you can just hang there, free seat.

  2. IT’S REALLY GROWN OVER THE PAST TWO YEARS!I had dropped in here before only a couple of times, one time back in November 2013 when I went to the bus stand to buy a ticket to Mai Sai for my visa run, and then again in December of that year when I came back from Mai Sai. Visiting it again this past Saturday in June 2015 for the 2nd Anniversary celebration, I was REALLY IMPRESSED to see how it had improved. Before, there were very few shops and very few customers or people hanging around, but now it was full of people of all ages! In the past, I had seen mostly teenagers there, but this time, there were also adults, children, families, and seniors, and a mix of Thais, tourists, and expats. This smallish mall is located right by the Arcade Bus Stand, so it’s a convenient place to sit in if you have a long time to wait for the bus or if you have to go buy some supplies for your upcoming trip. It’s also an excellent place to go when you first arrive in Chiang Mai. It’s unusual among malls in that it has an open-air design, with three floors and a rooftop bar with a fine view. (The ladies’ bathroom here says “Police Call Box!”) In the heat of June, I was disappointed with the lack of air-con, but at other times of year, the open air can be pleasant – and it gives it a bit more of a Thai feeling. The variety of shops isn’t huge, compared with Promenada Resort, Central Festival, Airport Plaza, or Kad Suan Kaew. However, they mostly sell practical, useful things you are likely to need when taking or getting off a bus. In general, the prices are normal Thai prices – not as expensive as some of the above-mentioned malls. There is an excellent shoe shop, and there are several excellent pharmacies and places to get hygiene items. The downstairs area has a lot of individual vending stalls selling clothes and accessories. Probably the best feature is the big range of restaurants offering a variety of cuisines at modest prices, including Mexican, Italian, Japanese, and Thai. The 2nd Anniversary Programme which I attended on June 27 was one of the best events I’ve gone to in recent months, and was extremely well-organised and interesting. I got to eat free Mexican, Thai, and Japanese food. The theme was related to London, but it was actually multicultural. It went from 12 noon to 6 pm, and it started with a cooking contest to make Thai salads. We got to eat salad afterwards! (If you hadn’t had one, Thai and Burmese salads are big, filling, and have a lot more ingredients than Western ones.) After that, there was a ballet performance of children, a bit different from a traditional ballet – with more arm movements, longer, more colorful tutus, flowers in the girls’ hair, and done to recent Western film songs in English. There was also one dance done to a Latin song. Only the second time I’ve got to see ballet dance in Thailand! Following this, Sunrise Tacos sponsored a taco-eating contest, where Thai and foreign participants competed to see how many tacos they could eat how quickly! Tacos are a new food to most Thai people. Afterwards, they split the tacos into very small slices and gave samples to everyone, and I got to eat several whole ones, also. Following this was a jazz dance performance by another children’s group. There was a break after this, during which time they offered free samples of Japanese sushi with beans in the hall outside. Finally, there was a guitar concert. The audience and organisation was multicultural….Thais, of course, and a group of Indian Punjabi Sikhs (of which there is a small community in Chiang Mai) seemed to play a big role in organising the children’s concerts. I also met my American expat friends from Boston near whom I used to live in Green Valley Country Club, Mae Rim. They brought their small children and their new baby. The only drawback to this event was the RAIN. The chairs for the program were placed in the center area of the second floor, which was an open area. The plastic shelter put above here wasn’t really adequate, so rain would often fall down onto the people sitting in the area. As much as possible, people would get to the benches in the side! This could affect general shopping in the mall, also!

  3. Nice open mall with lots of restaurants offer different cuisines. At night there are a few bar on the roof top. Reasonable price.

  4. I went along December 2016I was passing so stopped in for a while.Lots of parking and a few of the well known shops.A few places to eat and drink alsoNot a bad little shopping centre and the unusual sights of the security guards dressed as Scots guards with a fake bear skin helmet !Looks a bit wrong on the Thailand sun and heat !

  5. Quite small. Looks pricey but it does have a great craft beer bar (Beer Terminal, open from 5pm) and is next to the bus station. Both 15 Baht city busses B1 & B2 stop only about 2 minutes walk from here, inbetween Arcade bus terminals 2 & 3. There’s a Rimping supermarket which was good. I went at midday and it seemed quite quiet. I think it’s busier in the evening

  6. The location is very strategy which is just next to bus terminal 3 and opposite of bus terminal 2. Even though not many shops inside, but it is a good place to take a break of having some light refreshment or coffee while waiting for departure or arrival. The decoration is nice with a feel of British scene, a nice place to take some photos.
