  1. Chedi Plong also called Chiang Chom temple is known for its characteristics of having many buddha statues around; only three temples in Chiang Mai have this interesting feature such as Chiang Rak temple and Chiang Yeun; all these temples are outside the moat. It is nice little peaceful temple which have beautiful thai art on church’s window. Also a small house in temple for old people from this community to do some activites together.

  2. Very quiet peaceful wat in the northern area of Chiang mai. Definitely worth a visit, no street vendors or tuk tuks. Right at the of the road and turn right.

  3. A bit out of the way situated near Rajhabhat University in the north of the city. Large assembly hall and courtyard with nobody around. Stand out feature were the large, intricately carved wooden windows all along the sides of the building and the doors. Chedi at the back is undergoing repairs but there is another marvellous old Chedi at the entrance.

  4. I like the buddhist temples, the Thai architecture the peace of these places. This pagoda is particularly interesting.

  5. One more temple in Chiang Mai. Located between several residences and hotels, is an unexpected finding in the middle of so many houses. worth a visit.

  6. Once you pass all the barking stray dogs, you arrive at a peaceful Wat! It’s worth a visit if you’re in the area.

  7. The temple is one of interesting history and sights if it is the only temple you visit while in Chang Mai, however I did a tour of approximately7 temples in the day and by this time I was somewhat ‘templed’ out. The grounds are well kept, tourists are everywhere and the sights of the wood, gold ornaments and history of this actual working temple is a must see, if you do not see any other temple while staying in Chang Mai.
