Rangsri Soon Thorn Temple is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking Sukhumvit Road, Thailand
If you are travelling on Sukhumvit Road between Rayong and Sattahip, Wat Rangsri Soon Thorn is impossible to miss. There, right on the roadside about five kilometers from Sattahip, is a fat golden Chinese-style Buddha, about 20 meters tall.Inside the temple there is another even large Buddha, this one reclining, and is about 60 meters long. The temple itself does not appear to be of antiquity, but it is classically built, colourful, and worthy of a quick stop if you are driving past.
