  1. We fly to Pattaya with family. Utapao Airport is rather small, clean toilet, many Chinese tourists. They should add more seats.

  2. Flew out at 09:00 and back at 07:45 with Qatar Airways to Doha. Departure from terminal 1 – the old one, arrival at the new terminal 2. Very fast service on both days; 10-15 minutes maximum time spent. This is a no frills airport but so much more relaxing than the alternative Bangkok airports. Hats off to the airline for starting the services.

  3. This airport will one day be as busy as Bangkok. My wife and I own a home about 20 minutes away we use this airport at least once a week. Air Asia and Bangkok Air use this airport I’m not sure about regular service on other carriers however this airport is beginning to get busier

  4. I just want to share the method from Utapao Airport to Rayong City as following schedule. The left side from Rayong to Utapao airport and right side is the opposite direction.

  5. Small lovely airport serving Pattaya from quite a few countries now. Last time I was here it was just a very tiny airport with one flight per day but now has greatly expanded.Staff are friendly and helpful and outlets are filling up.Food outlets are abundant and prices are acceptable.

  6. Its website is a disaster, almost totally in Thai. If you use the email address and write in English you will NEVER get a reply. I tried to get information about long-stay parking as I live thirty minutes away. My daughter, living in England 6000 miles away got more information than I did. She and her husband stayed with me then drove to the airport to catch our plane to Samui. There was plenty of parking, some of it in shade. I remember when Bangkok airways had a lovely lounge with free coffee and biscuits. Now it’s a shoddy monstrosity riddled with mosquitos and unfinished. It is supposed to be an International airport yet the only way to buy a coffee is if you have a PromptPay app on your phone! How many International travellers have this? What a way to greet tourists! One of the joys of air travel is to take photos of take-off & landing. You are forbidden to do this in case you give away state secrets! The admirals in the Thai Navy do not seem to have heard of Google Earth and satellites.

  7. It was very basic, there is 2 cafes, 1 in the arrival hall, and 1 next to the gate when you pass the check in.It’s around 45 minutes from pattaya beach, and it’s kind of great as there are an office on the 1st floor next to gate check in that asks you wither you have a taxi to where you heading too or not, so they can afford you one.

  8. There’s a guy standing up there selling taxi rides for the destination destination, avoid buying from him, it’s twice as expensive. I have unfortunately bought taxi ride, airport phuket to my hotel for 900 BHT, you have to pay immediately, arrived in phuket I could take taxi significantly cheaper or Bolt for 450 BHT. Of course you won’t get your money back
