Chiang Puak gate is located on the northern perimeter of the old city wall. As with Tha Pae gate on eastern side, some sections of the old wall are still intact in this area.If you’re into walking, it takes about an hour and a half to do the entire length of the old city wall along the moat, factoring in photo stops. It’s an interesting excursion and you’ll end up back where you started at the end of the ‘lap’.
