A wonderful day out. A small group of 7. Cannot recommend Limmy private tours enough. Ensured that our group visited the locations at quieter times. Limmy and his son provided a great tour of the elephant sanctuary and Limmy’s calmness and encouragement enabled everyone on the tour to have an amazing experience. Would highly recommend.
This was the best tour we had in Thailand. Limmy and his son Pai was just wonderful guides. The waterfall, the temples, and the elephant sanctuary was so enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. We just loved everything. Thank you Limmy!

The temple was very colorful and beautiful. The waterfalls fun to walk and beautiful. Elephant sanctuary was incredibly interesting. Our guide Limmy was so knowledgeable and clearly loved and respected the elephants. All the elephants were treated well and looked happy. Limmy also switched up the itinerary order so we would not be with crowds. We greatly appreciated his efforts to make our trip as enjoyable as possible.
We’ve met Limmy at the railway station. He approached us as we left the station from the overnight train from Bangkok and offered a transfer to our hotel. Since we are travelling with kids (7yo/10yo) we are careful to pick trustful and quality service. We also made a lot of in advance bookings. After hardly no sleep train travel, we couldn’t afford any mistake.We had no hesitation nor doubt to agree on Limmy’s service! On the way, Limmy offered his private tours. We had our plans already arranged (Limmy confirmed we took good picks, which also confirms his credibility), so we thanked politely. I’m sure though that we would accept his offer otherwise! I’m pretty sure Limmy’s private tours are same quality as the transfer service we used.
Absolutely brilliant tour! Very small group of 6. Limmy made sure we had a great elephant experience, with plenty of time feeding them, washing them & Limmy was clearly very familiar with the elephants. He was knowledgeable & genuinely caring of the elephants. We were not rushed and had a truly memorable experience. The Wat Banden temple is also fascinating and very few tourists there meant we had a very special visit. Thoroughly recommend Limmy tours.
Amazing trip – great combination of activities made for a fun day for all the family. We enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of the temple, our kids aged 7, 10 and 12 loved climbing the sticky waterfalls (prepare to get wet!!) and we all loved meeting the beautiful elephants. Everything you need is provided including special clothes and shoes for bathing the elephants and the chance to shower afterwards. The lunch was delicious and fresh water was offered throughout. the van was comfortable and Limmy was an excellent guide. Highly recommend.
Three fantastic experiences in one perfect day. Temple amazing. Sticky Waterfalls such a unique fun experience. Hand feeding and bathing friendly elephants at a wonderful true elephant sanctuary is a must do. Great transport, fantastic guides who have nothing but love for the elephants. Great lunch and all elephant cleaning gear included. Also great educational talk on elephants, their popuoation and sustainability. Dont miss this trip in Chiang Mai. 5*
