Lanna’s private tour of Chiang Mai was one of the highlights of my time in Thailand. She was very knowledgeable of the cultural and political history of the region. She gave my group an art history perspective of the construction and artwork within the 3 temple destinations in the tour. A major highlight was visiting the local Warorot Market. Lanna took us to food stands within the market and encouraged us to try speciality items, like mangosteen, durian, and local sausages (simply delicious!!). This is a local market where english is not widely spoken, and without her guidance we would’ve felt very lost. She is warm, friendly and prompt – I’d recommend her tour to anyone visiting the Chiang Mai region. Thank you so much Lanna!!
Worth getting a private tour in Chiangmai… Kte was great and helpful. He even took me to an authentic northern Thailand restaurant for lunch.
Very kind and knowledgeable, my wife and I had a blast. From eating new things, to petting the tigers and shopping at the market we couldn’t not asked for a better experience. And let’s not forget her Good English 🙂
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the all-day tour of Chiang Mai that Lanna had planned for us. We had told her a few specific places that we definitely wanted to visit, the length of the tour (8 hours in our case), and the time of the day that wanted to start. She came up with a detailed itinerary, arranged for a minivan and an excellent driver, agreed to a fixed price ahead of time, picked us up from our hotel and dropped us off at our hotel after we were done, took care of all the logistics (tickets, entrance fees, lunch, water, etc.), provided excellent informational commentary throughout, answered all of our questions, etc., etc., etc… She speaks very good English and responds to inquiries very quickly. It can’t get any better than that. We highly recommend her.
I planned my first trip to Chiang Mai and wanted a unique experience and the possibility to do some photography with a local guide. Seeing the advert from Lanna to visit Doi Suthep, Wat Umong, Bai Orchid-Butterfly Farm and Bua Tong “Sticky” Waterfall I thought this is perfect as it will give me a taste of the area.Lanna was very friendly from the start and she was fun to be with for the day. She was very patient when I wanted to stop and take some photos and was flexible with the timing of leaving one place and going to the next. She had so much knowledge about the places we visited and she willing answered any questions. She made the whole day interesting and did not just repeat facts but provided explanations that kept your attention.One point we discussed was future trips and the possibility of going somewhere off the beaten track to avoid the crowds including waterfalls and overnight stays in Doi Inthanon. Lanna made the whole day a lot of fun and it was a pleasure to have her as my guide and I cannot recommend her enough.I am looking forward to my return trips to Chiang Mai and adventure to Doi Inthanon.

We enjoyed our Chiang Mai 1/2 day tour with Chayanisa Lanna Singhasen (goes by Lanna) so very much. She was completely organized and prompt, and all the logistics were without a hitch. Lanna has so much historical and cultural knowledge of the sights, that we enjoyed the amazing temples on a much deeper level. Our tour included Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Wat Phra Singh, Wat Chedi Luang and the Warorot Market. The tour was everything we hoped, and we highly recommend that you enhance your trip to Chiang Mai by travelling with Lanna.
We were picked up by Lanna and Peter (the driver). Instead of 3 of us going on this tour, it was just 2 of us because my husband was ill and couldn’t make it. When I told Lanna of this change, she offered several very helpful suggestions to help my husband, who was having digestive issues. After stopping at 7-11 to pick up some stomach relief tablets, we headed out to the tour, leaving my husband in the room to rest and recoup (at his request)Lanna accommodated our request to change the itinerary from what was posted. We began at War Prathat Doi Suthep Temple, then made our way to the beautiful Orchid Farm, where we had a most amazing lunch and spent time enjoying the orchids and butterfly garden. From there we headed to the Long Neck Karen Tribal village.The day was perfect and Lanna was a most amazing guide. Her English was perfectly fluent and she answered all of our questions, as well as provided much historical information. She was kind, friendly and very easy to be with, which made the day quite enjoyable. Thanks, Lanna, for your excellent customer service and expertise, which made our day!!We highly recommend taking a tour with Lanna, who will customize the day to your wishes!!!
We took a gamble booking this since there were no reviews, and I so glad we did. This was the highlight of our two week trip! Our guide, A, was phenomenal. He is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. He even gave us some wonderful recommendations for local restaurants (The House by Ginger was our favorite restaurant). The day was packed with enriching experiences, great food, and gorgeous views. It might sound overstated, but it truly was a life changing experience!
