Imagine this: you next to your loved ones eating the food you prepared (under the supervision of some experienced chef) in the quiet country side with birds chirping. We had an amazing time in Aroy Aroy. Started our day by visiting a local market where we learned about the different ingredients we were going to use later which was very informative and entertaining. Then we had some time to walk around and try some interesting and unique snacks and food sold there. Once we got to the school, located in a quiet corner of Chiang Mai, we were treated with cold tea and even more local snacks. We later started cooking which was a very enjoyable process and obviously then we ate it all. Everything was served in traditional plates. A really remarkable experience.
The cooking school in Chiang Mai we chose was a great hit.We were picked up from our hotel, visited the local food market to buy fresh ingredients for our cooking.The school is located in a very nice and quiet place with its own herb garden where you can rest during your meal. :)You can not only cook and eat delicious food but also talk with the charming hosts about Thai culture which they try to bring to you during your stay.This experience really made our day.Thank you!Ewa & Arkadiusz
Highly recommend it. They take you to a market, buy food. Explain everything you put in and why. Teach you technique etc. Mook & Mint are awesome!
Amazing experience! We learned all about the ingredients that went into the dishes we made and the food was so incredibly good! I would highly recommend doing this if you’re in Chiang Mai.
We had an amazing experience with Mook and Mint! We started out at the local market where they showed us the ingredients we would be cooking with. We then headed to the school, which is adorable and peaceful, and started out with apps and tea. We made 3 different meals and desert, which you get to chose from their menu. The food was amazing, the school itself is well set up and so cute and the instructors were very sweet and helpful. Definitely book with them!

This whole experience is awesome. We got a really cool tour through the local market with our guides Mook and Mint, then went to the cooking school in a really quiet cool area. There we were treated to some awesome appetizers before we started getting into the cooking ourselves. The class was awesome, learning about really authentic and high quality thai food was everything we were hoping for. The food was also some of, if not the, best we’ve had in Thailand. I would definitely recommend.
