  1. Had a really great thai massage. Was relaxing and the atmosphere was charming. Afterwards we got a nice cup of the. I would definite recommend this place to skill of my friends.

  2. Me and my girlfriend went there because the “famous” and in all travel books recommended spa didn’t have a possibility to go. We were absolutely surprised about the friendliness of the staff and the prices are really ok as well.

  3. We stumbled upon this place, as green bamboo (next door) was full for the day. We chose the “Neck, Back, Head” massage. It was a deep tissue massage. It was intense compared to a Swedish massage. The masseuse asked me multiple times if I was ok, which I appreciated. Knowing full well I was in for a deep tissue massage I continued without hesitation. As we had a couples massage, the 2 masseuse had a small conversation, however it did not affect our massage or our opinion. It ended very well with a post massage tea and short conversation with the owner. For anyone looking for a deep tissue massage, definitely check this place out.

  4. We were kindly greeted and guided by the lady at the front. She was one of the nicest person we met in Chiang Mai, a memorable encounter. Soothingly cleaned our feet with bergamot, and a scub, then we transitioned to the actual massage, upstairs. The foot reflexology was great, so was the neck back shoulders. It was our first time having an hour long massage, but never did we find it too long, we have now experienced 6 different massage parlors throughout Thailand and this one stands out as a really good experience. The two masseuses never talked to each other and stayed professional and concentrated. They prayed before their massage, lent us clean loose fitting clothes which is always a great preliminary to a massage. We had a good chat with whom I guess was the owner while drinking our complimentary tea, delightful.

  5. Wanted to next door but it was booked. Chose New Orchid instead. We ordered the back/head/neck massage. Once we ordered, the lady it seemed made a phone call and two ladies in regular clothes came into the parlor from outside. First my husband and I were treated to a foot bath. Then we got dressed and had the massage. Very good. Peaceful music. Some street noise but did not detract. Privacy curtain. We both felt our masseuse was skilled. I can tolerate a stronger massage than my husband. He felt the lady started softly then worked her way up to very strong, while I felt she started softly and went to medium. Still effective and therapeutic. They also did a little bit of legs and feet even though we did not order the full body. Tea and cookies after. Only criticism, hence the 4 stars, is that the sheets/pillow cases were not changed afterward. Also, the masseuse would look a little more professional if they were in some kind of uniform as opposed to street clothes. But overall good experience. Would go back. It was 259baht/hour.

  6. We randomly ended up at this massage place after Green Bamboo was booked up. It was dirty and the masseuse was very unskilled. This was the first time during a massage where I was actually looking at the clock waiting for it to be over. Left feeling icky and not relaxed.

  7. Had regular 2 hour oil massage including abdominal massage from Lek. High quality and professional treatment. Upstairs can sometimes get small amount of noise from adjoining cubicles but the massage quality more than makes up for minor noise distraction. Hot tea served after massage. I am regular here during my frequent trips to Chiang Mai and will return.

  8. This parlour has excellent spa done esp the foot massage. Its so relaxing after a long tiring day. They really make u feel so relaxed n nice. The environment is also cool n has music for relaxation. The staff those who do the massage are so friendly .They try n help ease all the pain in out joints. Its very reasonable also.one can visit the markets also nearby and there are immense eateries also nearby. One coming to this city must come here for massage. They use aroma and herbal oils for massage.

  9. My partner and I went here after the Green Bamboo turned us away as they were full. We have since been to both massage placed. They were cheaper than next door and the interior was not as well decorated but they had air conditioning and were very welcoming. We had the 200 bht traditional Thai massage. Starting with a foot soak and scrub before being taken upstairs where we changed to out massage clothes and had our massage. It was nice to have a share room with my boyfriend. I currently have a badly injured foot and I’m pleased to say the lady was incredibly careful not to touch it. Even checking with me a number of times before proceeding with stretches near the area. It should be noted that Thai massage isn’t like the typical massage most western travelers would be used to. I would happily return again!

  10. After recently leaving Hong Kong and having spent over 30 hours on our feet the 200 baht foot massage is exactly what the doctor ordered. Plan on returning once more before we leave and would recommend to any family and friends visiting.Disclaimer: if you are looking for an upscale massage parlor with champagne and caviar refreshments this is not the place for you. However if you are willing to trade that for an authentic refreshing Thai massage followed up by light refreshments of hot tea and bananas this place is for you.
