  1. Terible experience. No real fight. Just few kids playing around, at the first punch they go to the ground and stop fighting even if nothing happened. All flight took less than 5 min, but around 1h with all the songs and comments. Not Worth. TOURIST TRAP

  2. The worst experience in thailande i have done!!! 6 fight 5ko in the first minute (one after 10seconde). If it was due to good level it would be ok but it wasnt. The fighter look like 14 15 years old and everytime they got hit its over. I didnt saw any good punch. Really don’t go there !!! Even for free i would move the stadium after the second fight !!!

  3. So bad.. really worst thaiboxing insaw in my life.. looks like u train 1 day and fight here for money.. dont go here.. better watch a bar fight

  4. Every fight is fake and fixed. It’s a complete waste of money and a mockery to Muy Thai. The bookies work the crowd to see if they can find drunk tourists to bet on fixed fights. Don’t go here.

  5. Entry is 600,000 for the standard seats. Would recommend these over the more expensive seats as the view really isn’t anything different. The VIP area is also behind some not very clean window so your view is impaired. Standard tickets are best. The boxing itself was really good fun and it was great for a first time experience. There are 7 fights in total, some of which are international fights. Overall would absolutely recommend coming here for a fun night of boxing.NB don’t place a bet with the people who offer you bets, as they will always choose the winner.

  6. I was hoping for a more enthusiastic crowd on a Saturday night. It was fun anyways 😀.Interesting to see a Thai tradition that is not available anywhere else.

  7. I’m not a fan of boxing as I don’t enjoy watching people being beaten to a pulp, but I desperately wanted to watch a Muay Thai match for the experience. I was in the standard seating area and it’s hot, basically whatever the weather was outside. Staff are on hand to show you to your seat and they give you a sheet of paper with the match-ups.Overall, I enjoyed Muay Thai much more than I thought I would. Virtually all the knock-outs were from kicks to the leg area and the opponent couldn’t take anymore. The only thing I did not like was the first, which looked like a couple of kids and even worse the loser was badly hurt.

  8. I didn’t listen to all of the negative reviews thinking “I’m just a tourist, what do I care or even know if it’s bad quality muay thai right?”. But no, this was actually so bad it could qualify as a scam. They last second cancelled the main fight of the night. And even all of the other fights were actual preteens and teens under 150 pounds, it was literally like watching middle school wrestling. I kept thinking these must just be the opening acts but it didn’t get any better. This is actually such poor and embarrassing quality for being one of the main stadiums in Chiang Mai. Save yourself money, and spend ur evening anywhere else.

  9. We went to the Thaphae boxing stadium on a Saturday in mid 2024, every fight was exciting and the view from most seats was really good. Each fight was great with both opponents going at it, there seemed to be only one dodgy fight, which was the first one of the evening, but even they were pummelling each other for the first two rounds. Halfway through there was some entertainment with four people blindfolded in the ring fighting, this was more of a show, with the participants flinging themselves around. Not up my street but some of the crowd seemed to enjoy it. Overall the night was better than what a lot of other reviews indicate, however this may be because we went on a Saturday night so the quality was improved compared to weekday cards.
