Best pub in Thailand!!! Owners are down to earth retired guys from London, the music is groovy, it’s a relaxed atmosphere and the waitresses are a great bunch of ladies, I highly recommend everyone stopping here for a margarita!!!!
Happened to arrive during happy hour, nice to get a bit of a deal. Laid back place, nice to relax for a bit before heading back to the hotel. Restroom in the back
We found this nice little cocktail bar, tucked away in a Soi of the Old City. Very laidback atmosphere, very friendly staff. And the Long Island Ice Teas are great!
Stumbled across this bar while exploring and it was by far my favorite in Old City. Small and simple but great atmosphere and friendly staff.
I found my way here following some positive reviews I read online… I probably shouldn’t have really bothered. It’s a very small bar, tucked neatly away down a dark alley. Most people there were western middle aged men.The drinks are a little pricey, for what you get and it’s not the most comfortable place to be if you turn up on your own. I can see its certain appeal, but wasn’t for me.
This place reminded me greatly of Smugglers Inn at Stanley Market in Honkers; every conceivable bank note on the walls, cartoons everywhere, and drunken scrawls in felt tip wishing you “All the best from Jurgen and the lads in Munich.” You know the thing. I read a couple of the reviews that gave “terrible” grading – ‘the place is full of miserable expats’ (true) and ‘the staff were unfriendly’ (not true) etc – but so what; this is a typical Thai farang walking street pub that makes a day in the noise, smoke and heat that more bearable at sundown.Keep it up, Lost Hut – you’re a good ambassador for Thailand tourism!
Friendliest bar I found in chiang mai, poo, fon, toy great company and drinks at very reasonable prices. Called here every night since finding it.
This is a bar frequented by anglo expats. The beer is cold, and slightly cheaper than at most bars. People are friendly. There is frequently live music – there was on my visit, and I heard some very good players. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and accommodating; service is excellent. If you’re looking for it, it’s about 50 yards from Dash! I’ll be back.
This bar is a little hole in the wall of a place and it is fantastic. It is in a cute neighbourhood down one of the small alleys in the old city in Chiang Mai. They make a nearly perfect Mojito. The music is good and the streets are active with people who live in the area. Skip the fancy rooftop cocktail lounges as they can’t mix a drink most of the time. This is the real Chiang Mai watering hole.
We love this little bar which is tucked away in a side street. The drinks are so reasonably priced and much cheaper than the restaurants and other local bars if you come here between 6-9pm. The house wine was really pleasant. A very relaxed place to enjoy some drinks.
