I have visited this place last night after work time (31May16 @20:30). I bought 1 hour foot massage and everything seemed fine but I noticed that my massager did not concentrate. I told her gently to stress massage because she did not put her force on it at all. She did stress on my legs a bit but it seemed she had something in her mind. THIS IS NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. Or she wanted to finish her job because it was late at night or whatever…but I paid full free with forceless foot massage which did not help me to relax my feet and legs. One more thing, the method how to massage feet of Ban Chomnad is so simple. The massager just touched the legs and feet with lotion…nothing special like it could have a particular foot massage or the massager did not know how to massage feet..She should massage …not just using lotion and touching the customer’s legs up and down…it was not massage I would say. I will never be here again. I was so disappointed. I saw many certificates in here but it did not guarantee the quality at all.
The massage (foot for me and traditional Thai for my husband) itself was OK but not the best we had in town. The setting is pretty and it has a relaxing atmosphere. I noticed that, while the ladies who work at the massage chairs downstairs by the entrance , where the owner stays, were very quiet and not chit chatting between themselves (which I like), the ladies working upstairs (where we were brought) were a bit more chatty. Prices are slightly lower than the prices around Silom. We paid 250B for the 1 hour Thai traditional massage and 270B for the foot massage.
Foot massage places in Thailand only are outnumbered by 7/11’s it seems so it’s hard to work out good ones versus Bad ones. And price doesn’t necessarily reflect quality. I’ve been to Ban Chomnard about a dozen times. And almost every time I’ve had a super foot massage. It’s not fancy to look at but it’s seems like it’s run by one lady who does a very professional job. They also do allOther types of massage and facial treatments as well which I have not tried. But value for money and quality it’s very hard to beat this place. I don’t generally pick massages places by trip advisor reviews and have tried a nearby one that was supposedly great (I posted a review on that too) and I guess sometimes reviews are not to be believed. However in my experience. You can do a lot worse than this spa. And especially for the money.
Cannot recommend this place enough! Fantastic Thai lady owner who speaks very good English. I visited in May 2017.The massage was firm and relaxing, the masseuse was very strong, and the Thai massage left me feeling great. Good communication on the level of force,The spa is large and clean and has been established for 10 years the owner told me in conversation, with many regular customers.
Amazing place . Will back definitely. Proper educated masseuses. And many options with very attractive price. Just bring your sweater. Cold as usually in thailand
Came here cause I was staying I the neighborhood twice and had amazing service both times! Very clean with wonderful amazing friendly staff! Cheap prices and great tea and wifi!
I got recommendation about this place from my friend, so i give it a try. I went there to have foot massage. The lady (Nana) she did a good job. She is strong and she knows what she is doing. Quite and Clean place. The staff friendly & professional.Definitely will comeback.
I’ve been here many times as its one of the nicer looking massage parlours in the neighbourhood. Very relaxing environment, very clean, warm and welcoming. Prices are average. Some of the masseuses are very good, some are average and some not so good. This is the same in any massage shop in my experience. One negative thing is the massage girls often chat to eachother when you’re receiving your massage and it can feel like they’re not concentrating. Also sometimes the customers chat on their phones while being massaged. Overall still one of the best in the area
new excellent premises 0pposite old premises with the same excellent staff and very nice exuberant owner a wonderful place to relax and have massage
I went to this spa for a Thai massage. The staff and surroundings were ok. However, after the therapist finished giving me the massage, I asked her how come she did not stretch my legs, back and arms? She said that’s not part of the service. Once i got dressed and went downstairs to pay for the service, i asked the cashier which massage includes stretching of legs and body, she said Thai massage. I told her the therapist said that its not part of Thai massage. She didnt respond and offered me tea. Needless to say, I didn’t leave a tip as the massage i received was a regular massage applying pressure only, no stretching included. If you go, clarify upfront what the massage entails.
