We had a very lovely time learning how to make Thai sausages and papaya salad. The hosts were so friendly and the food was really delicious. It includes a big lunch and plenty of Thai sausages which we took with us back to our hotel.
My family really enjoyed this northern Thai cooking class! They teach you to make sausage and papaya salad! Fresh ingredients and very tasty. They also serve you an array of other foods for lunch. The setting is beautiful, green and peaceful. They gave us a tour of their herb garden. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this cooking class. The food was so yummy! Very nice staff!
Really loved my northern sausage cooking course. The staff were super friendly and very informative and we got to also make a papaya salad. A trip around the garden with our guide while the sausages were cooking, showing us all the herbs and ingredients we had used to make the sausages. And then the lunch was superb. Totally delicious with a heap of extra dishes as well as the sausage and salad. Highly recommend this tour. It is not a long one but it is a great one.
This is an awesome class! Foodie paradise. You want this! Hands on sausage making experience. Spend an afternoon with the backdrop of banana trees, and rice fields.
I had the utmost pleasure of attending a marvellous sausage-making workshop with my mother at Kinmuankinlum, and it was simply divine! We had the rare opportunity to craft authentic northern Thai sausage in its original and traditional flavour. The experience was made all the more delightful by the variety of five exquisite flavour options available, adding a bespoke touch to the workshop. The charming lady (forgive me, for I’ve forgotten her name) who runs this delightful local business is a consummate professional, brimming with warmth and passion. Her dedication to her craft is evident in every detail, and I must say, she is truly deserving of far greater recognition and patronage. The setting itself was idyllic, nestled in a picturesque countryside locale that lent an air of tranquillity and charm to the entire affair. For an experience of this calibre, the price is astoundingly reasonable—a rare gem indeed! If you’re seeking an exceptional and unique experience, this workshop is an absolute must. I shall most certainly return and cannot recommend it highly enough. A thoroughly delightful day out!
It was a great experience, we were tought how to make Sai Ua, delicious norther Thai sausage. For the second dish we made somtam papaya salad. And for the third dish we made Khao Soi.The staff was very friendly and helpfull, the explanation is in good english. The songtaew pickup was on time. There is also an option to buy food products from her shop.Highly recommend!
The sausage workshop was the highlight of our trip!We got whisked away to the countryside, where to use fresh ingredients from the nearby garden to make not only northern Thai sausages, but also papaya salad and khao soi. There were only four people in our group, so the workshop felt very personal and friendly. After we made the food we got to enjoy our time at the garden while the sausage cooked. We got to see, touch, smell, and taste the various herbs that we used in cooking. It was amazing how bright and flavorful fresh herbs grown locally and used fresh can be.And of course we got to eat the food as well. I don’t think I’ll ever forget to flavor of fresh lemongrass and lime that I tasted in our sausage.10/10. Would recommend.
This was a super fun and delicious experience! We really got to make our own Lanna style Northern sausages, and to cook Khao Soi ☺️ and we got to eat at a nice balcony next to the fields. The ladies teaching us were also super friendly and helpful. It was a really wonderful experience overall:)
Excellent food and it’s so fun and engaging. Price is really reasonable comparing to other classes. Highly recommend!!
It is a truly authentic experience, making a Thai sausage and salad in a small holding setting in an organic garden. Loved every moment and enjoyed the fruits of our labour over a relaxing and extremely tasty lunch.
Interesting workshop with making your own sausage. Your begin with shredding the spices and mixing it with the meat. Afterwards you press the mixture and make the sausages. While it is on the grill you prepare some papaya salad. You will have the sausage, salad and a variety of delicious local meals for lunch. The people are very friendly and explain everything in a good and understandable English. No need to have breakfast. We even got the remaining sausage with us.
Really great half day experience at a private house/farm. I’m surprised it hasn’t got more reviews. There are two menus which alternate each day. WhatsApp them and pick the day you want. I wanted to make Khao Soi, which is not dissimilar the green curry, so I could cook it back home but the sausage was even better. There’s a generous lunch (with water) served on a veranda overlooking fields. Took 45 mins to get there.
We had lots of fun learning how to make the northern Thai sausages and the papaya salad from the friendly chef and her family. We enjoyed making them and of course, also savouring them. After the ‘hard’ work, we were treated to a beautiful, delicious meal. Highly recommended!
Just incredible experience! Wonderful people, beautiful surroundings and delicious food. Very chilled but so very informative and interesting. Highly recommend.
Great overall experience. The van picks us up on time, then on the ride we all got to introduce ourselves. Fun to meet others from different parts of the world . The mixing and grinding the ingredients was fun. We had a little time to tour their herb garden and shop. There was no pressure to upsell .The finished sausages and salad was awesome. Then we had time to enjoy our meal with just the 9 students . Overall it was very enjoyable and much more than we expected. I would highly recommend, even if you are a single to a larger group.
