If you’re very, very lucky, you’ll run in to Mrs Suthep who will share her passion with you, through your guide as she did not speak English, I sadly not Thai. If you’re reading this at home before you travel, TOP TIP, take a case half a size bigger than you want to your travel essentials, you’ll have room to bring home some stunning pots!
Following the traditions of the old sangkalot potters, worth a visit if your after some traditionally made ceramics. Visit the factory and see the artists working then browse the showroom for that unusual piece. Whilst probably not the best quality ceramics available in Thailand it is the history behind the designs that is the draw.
