  1. Cheap (1400 baht for 10 shots) and safe! Two words to sum up my first time shooting experience! Location is a bit hard to find because they are not on main road! But they have outdoor shooting range and use real bullet! They have another indoor competitor near to their entrance. Make sure you go to the one with with the word “Paragon”

  2. After falling into the tourist trap that is the Samui Shooting Range (4169 opposite Makro Bo Phut, Bophut) where our driver took us, we finally found the Paragon Gun Range (which we asked the Driver to take us to in the first place) and it was worth the effort. The Paragon Gun is not afraid to post its prices on its web site, unlike other ranges so you know up front what a shooting experience is going to cost. The weapons were well maintained, the staff were professional and well trained in range procedure and safety. The whole experience was great.A range of guns are available, prices are less than half that of “other” ranges and while you shoot from an enclosed shooting area, the targets are outside in a disused quarry which adds positively to the experience. Some Taxi drivers will try to take you to the “other” ranges nearby, but be firm. If they cannot find the place, the road they need to take you to is opposite the Wat Khunaram School, in the Lamai region. (Wat Khunaram (Phra Wihan Luang Por Daeng) 300 yards up this road there is a Samui shooting range but follow the signs through the palm grove to the Paragon. After falling into the tourist wallet trap at the “other” range, the professionalism, value for money and overall experience at the Paragon Gun really improved our day.I would recommend it for first timers who want to try a shooting experience.

  3. This gun range is quite out of the way and you need to go up a dirt road to get there, but it’s worth the effort. We were the only visitors and they let us pick the actual gun from a display. My limited knowledge about guns was only from video games and I ended up picking a SIG submarine gun because it looked cool and a Glock 17 because I always wanted to fire one. You can check the price from their website or FB page. The paper targets are outside in front of a dirt hill, which was a big plus because I don’t want to shoot indoors like some other ranges in the area. The weapons were clean and well-maintained. You are of course given earmuffs and I could tell the guns fire accurately and however I scored was down to my aiming. The staff, while appeared chill, was very alert and cared about your safety and posture looking down the aim. Another huge plus is that they allow photographs and one of the staff even took the time to help us frame some very cool pictures (it appears another range close by charges people for photos). I am glad I choseto take the time to find Paragon for our shooting experience. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

  4. It is a little hard to find but go at side of the main road Gun range on a dirt track and signposted. This was for a first time couple handling any gun brilliant. They spoke English and guided us through the process very easily. We chose 2 handguns a 9mm and a 45 which both came with 10 bullets each,we shared these with 5 each. At the end they took photos of you holding the target and guns which will make nice memories of our trip. A BIG THANK YOU. ???

  5. Brought my family after reading reviews and Wasn’t disappointed, yes it’s expensive but cheaper than all the others, having never shot these types of weapons before myself and the kids loved it, it’s clean, well supervised and only 15 mins from Lamai and the taxi will wait

  6. We decided to visit this shooting range after we searched TripAdvisor and found all the reviews on it here. And yes – it’s true that this is the cheapest shooting range on Koh Samui. But at the same time it is pretty expensive by itself. I suppose Thailand is not the best place for such experience. Plus I was with friends and a lot of weapons can’t be shared (if you bought 20 shots for you – you can’t shoot 10 and leave the gun with 10 shots for your friend), which makes no sense. No automatic weapons – only pistols, shotgun and .22 sniper rifle. So we took 10 shots for Magnum revolver – which is one of the only weapons that can be shared and it jammed after every 2nd shot. Instructor even had to fix it along the way so we can proceed with shooting. So this is it. Maybe some time ago this was really great shooting range, but I suppose the time has passed and some things changed. We didn’t receive much fun of this experience – which is the main thing in such activities.

  7. Took teenage boys to this range. About 20min out from Koh Samui central. The staff were very helpful as a couple of the boys had never shot before so they set them up, coached and supported them. They were casual but attentive to safety. Good array of guns to try but not particularly cheap as you pay by the bullet. Range shoots out to what looks like an old quarry. Make sure your return trip is arranged as it’s a few minutes drive off the main road

  8. Nice selection of Firearms to shoot no idears how the cost compares to other venues but seemed ok.Staff were helpful and kept things safe without being over bearing.

  9. Full metal jacket ? this place is great it’s small and indoors but with 1 to 1 tuition from an ex special ops thai style Jason statham it more than made up for the small range. I fired the selection of 6 hand guns and got to keep the targets then fired the semi autos and enjoyed them all.

  10. This shooting range was a complete disappointment. The staff’s behavior was outrageously rude and aggressive, making it an awful experience overall. I’m genuinely appalled by the way they treated their customers. I had to resort to calling the police and reporting their behavior, as it was completely unacceptable. I highly advise against visiting this place – you’ll only end up feeling upset and disrespected. It’s essential for others to be aware of this situation, so they can avoid a similar unpleasant encounter.

  11. You have to try it once in your life. Shooting/Not as I thought in the movies. I have tried many different types of guns, each with a different feel, but one thing I really enjoy is the practice of concentration, breathing, and self-mastery.
