We visited this waterfall with high hopes. We were very disappointed as this cannot be classified as a real waterfall. Nature is beautiful but it is not worth the walk. The other guests were also not impressed at all.
Stopped here on our own, was looking forward to seeing the waterfall but after a awkward journey down and up a rather dangerous walk way which in realty is not a walkway at all only a guide showing the best route through the tree roots and rocks, i reached the bottom of the waterfall which was disappointing really for the effort it took to get there and then my partner went to the top, I didn’t as it looked more dangerous, he said it wasn’t anything special up there either
I found this place by accident in my car. I was still physically scarred by my visit to Nauamg Waterfall number 2, but pulled into the car park and saw a sign that said 250m walk to the waterfall. After the arduous walk to Waterfall Number 2, I thought this would be quick. It was, but the waterfall was very underwhelming because there wasn’t much water when I was there. When I walked back to the top I saw a sign saying 100m to a Natural Pool. It was a steep 100m (ish) descent, but there is a pleasant waterhole to splash about in. The water is cool – not cold and very refreshing. Which is good because it is a steep short walk out and you are sweating at the top again. I agree with other contributors that you wouldn’t go out of your way, but if you are passing by – skip the waterfall, but try the natural pool.
We were in the area so stopped as we like seeing the waterfalls in Thailand we walked half way up a dangerous footpath right on the edge of a sheer drop with only a rope for guidance and some not very good signs and the path looked more tricky further up so decided to give it a miss as it had been raining However we did walk down to the bottom of the waterfall and we were not impressed at all there are more pipes feeding the water back up than it being natural
We went here by accident as took the wrong turning for Waterfall 2. You have to pay to park and it is small, unimpressive and the water is not inviting. Only positive was there was a friendly dog who took us down and back up again.
We passed by and made a stop. Had read the TripAdvisor reviews pre however decided to stop anyway. Waterfall is tiny and so is pool. Won’t recommend. Best part is view of jungle from parking area balcony which is fantastic!
Don’t waste your time on this waterfall there is literally nothing there. You walk about 500 metres to nothing. Just a tiny waterfall that’s not worth your while.
Was excited to go see a waterfall, paid to park, walked to the waterfall and there was no waterfall, so we headed back to go to the natural pool we were told was there and could swim in, some tourist’s had just come up from the pool and advised us not to go down as it was a waste of time once again lacking any water.Don’t waste your time.
We went there, paid for parking the bike, went down the stairs to waterfall only to find out there was none! The only nice thing is a little terrace with the view of the jungle!
