Too hot, clearly useless to train in a 50c degrees gym. I wonder why other bodybuilders go there as there are better alternative cheaper gym with aircon. Thailand is not California and no gym without air conditioning should exist in Thailand.
This gym is the nuggets most hardcore gym we have Been to. Great for bodybuilders, powerlifters, boxers, and really anyone Who loves to workout.
Imagine a Costco filled with weights. This is what this place is. I have been to many gyms across the U.S and also through Thailand. Muscle Factory is hands down the best gym I have ever trained at. Any real lifters, must go!!
Even I don’t want give them 1 in Rate. Im really disappointed in Muscle Factory Gym.What happen to me that I bought one year membership 18000B on 21 Aug 2019. I had to go back to AU so I freeze my membership and left BKK on end of 2019. I was going back to Thailand asap once I finished things to do but Covid has been started and AU residents couldn’t go out from country. International border was closed. I was stacked in AU for 2yrs and I came back to BKK finally this April so I wanted to start working out at MF but they said my membership is expired….my remaining 7 month membership have gone …Firstly explained my situation to counter lady but she said that I was member and freeze my membership already 2years ago and why couldnt back for 2yrs long… I didnt understand why she said like that coz Covid hasnt been finished right? Still ppl not easy to travel around. I came to BKK not late in this Covid situation. I told her AU international border was closed!! How did I come to BKK even I wanted to!! She is just a counter lady so didnt know what she should do to me so called to manager. The manager said I have to pay membership again… but I told her my situation again and again so she said needs to talk to owner or I can come back to here to talk to owner?? I knew one of the owner sometimes here before covid but not sure nowadays he still comes this gym or not. Pretty sure he is busy so I said if I come back tmrw 100% for sure to talk to him?? The manager also not sure I guess he will come or not but she just said “come back tmrw!” That’s so ridiculous if I come back tmrw but I cant speak to him right?So I left my phone number and membership card at the counter lady, and said to manager, pls talk to owner or someone who can solve this matter then call me back.I knew about what is the customer service in Thailand so I told her, I don’t have much time (If I could use remain 7month membership I would live in On nut area if not move to other gym other area)so call me back til TOMORROW…and she said Ok OK!!And you know the end right? Hell yeah no one called me. LolI wasnt surprised. I saw their other reviews and some mention about their customer service is still 19th. Not because of Thai. Top doesnt manage the staff so.Not sure Manager told about this to her boss or not.Not sure the owner heard about this but just ignoring this small matter for him. Nowadays lots modern and luxury gyms around BKK and why do I still have to use here?? Admittedly, Muscle Factory has probably the best and largest collection of muscle building equipment in Bangkok if not Thailand and yes quite a few serious bodybuilders do train there both locals and foreigners.BUT THE PLACE IS RIDICULOUSLY HOTTER INSIDE THAN OUTSIDE. If it’s 32℃ outside it’s over 40℃ inside. There’s no air conditioning in the main weight training area at all, just a few giant fans on the ceiling. Just wearing a tank top and shorts, anybody training there is drenched in sweat within 2 minutes of stepping in the main training area even before starting to lift any weights.I can’t train there with any level of intensity without feeling nauseous after about a few sets. The temperature is too high and i’m overheating. It drains my energy.The place also looks filthy these days. I went there a couple of weeks ago to train and check things out. There are several machines in various stake of disrepair, and the floor could use a broom and a mop.I mentioned the temperature issue to the owner several times in the past but he’s not interested in fixing it at all.Also, the location is dreadful, trying to get a Grab taxi to drive you there is challenging since the gym doesn’t appear on the map and it’s buried deep within a random soi far from everything. Finally i’d like to point out that for all its size and prestige within the bodybuilding community, the place is almost always nearly empty and my guess is because the training floor is unbearably hot. My local gym which had 10 times less equipment has more customers thanks to a good location, decent equipment, good trainers and AIR CONDITIONING. Gee! What a novel idea! Air conditioning is attracting customers, I wonder why!
March to April about 23 visits This gym is absolutely amazing. As many people have already mentioned, it offers a wide range of equipment, and this is evident in the photos. Having visited numerous gyms in Southeast Asia, it’s common to encounter a lack of air conditioning in some of them. Therefore, I wasn’t surprised to find that this gym didn’t have air conditioning in the main lifting room. Considering the size of the facility, it would be impractical to cool the entire building. However, the cardio room, which is the only area that truly requires it, is equipped with air conditioning.The prices were reasonable, and the staff was incredibly friendly. One outstanding service that caught my attention was the availability of prepared meals that can be heated up and enjoyed right after your workout. This is a service I have never encountered before. I’m already looking forward to returning in September and stepping foot in this fantastic establishment once again.
Great bodybuilders gym. You will see many hard working giants which makes you push harder. They have also super macro friendly meals, so you don’t have to worry what would you eat after your hard session.Weather condition might be challenging since there is no ac system as usual BKK situation. But a good sweat good for the skin ?❤️
